Oil change in 55 minutes or it's free? Not for me at least. A few days prior to my appointment for an oil change, I was asked for the VIN so that they could make sure they had the oil filter there for my vehicl A few days prior to my appointment for an oil change, I was asked for the VIN so that they could make sure they had the oil filter there for my vehicle. I arrived on time for my appointment, they assured me it would be done within 55 minutes as their promotion states. Well, the 55 minutes came and went, and when I finally politely inquired when it would be ready, I was politely informed they had not started yet. I couldn't wait any longer as I had a prior appointment to get to so after waiting an additional 15 minutes, they gave me my car back and I drove away with no oil change, but 90 minutes older and wiser. They didn't offer to book me in at a different time for a free oil change to honour their promotional claim, though that would have been advisable regardless just to provide good customer service. The attendant was friendly and polite though, no issues with the people there, yet I certainly will not be going back. Hope your experience is different. More

Excellent service! This is not my first visit to Northstar Calgary and I can say that the service there is second to none. Jen Chouinard was the one who greeted me as This is not my first visit to Northstar Calgary and I can say that the service there is second to none. Jen Chouinard was the one who greeted me as I came in and handled the paperwork for the oil change and inspection I received on my car. It was a "waiting appointment" and they were very punctual. My car was taken from me promptly when I arrived and returned to me 35 minutes later. This was the most prompt and efficient service I have received at any shop in 26 years of driving. The inspection revealed that I need a brake job on the back brakes. The quote I was given was very competitive. Given the treatment I received from Jen C and the folks at Northstar, I am filled with confidence and am heading back to have the work done. I will not hesitate to return in the future! More
