They will then give you an inspection report that is a complete sham. Insist on having a mechanic of your choosing look at the car. They certainly know how to move lemons. More

Do not buy your Ford vehicle and get it serviced at Northstar Ford - Crowfoot. Their sales staff are deceitful and their service department supports this deceit. I purchased a new Ford F150 in Nov Northstar Ford - Crowfoot. Their sales staff are deceitful and their service department supports this deceit. I purchased a new Ford F150 in November, 2015. While not normally a purchaser of extended warranties or prepaid maintenance programs, I was told by the sales staff that the advantage of their prepaid maintenance program was that it included consumables such as air filters, windshield wipers and most importantly (to me), brakes and shocks. As my maintenance program neared its time/mileage end, I enquired several times of the service department regarding shock and brake replacement. I was always met with the response of "wait and see". That is until I reached the final end of the program. Then their line became that there was still 1 mm of wear on the brakes and that no oil leaks were evident on the shocks. No replacement of either was warranted (in their opinion) despite the brakes surging and vibrating and the vehicle riding much bouncier. I had close to 100,000 km on the brakes and shocks. I believe it was their intention from the start to use whatever loopholes and weasel words were available to them to postpone and then deny that aspect of the prepaid maintenance program to me. I find their approach to be deceitful. More

Terrible Service (Stayaway from NORTHSTART FORD) - called two issues looked at on our Explorer. Described both over the phone - inoperable sunroof, intermittent bloodspot indicator default. Individual on the phone told us $199 to take a look (totally fine) - booked time off work, arranged for kids, drove tandem with wife to drop the vehicle off only to be told when we get there nope... it will be two charges ($168 each) to have them take a look. What a waste of time - criminal, bait and switch tactics. So disappointing when a manager (Rob Meade) will not stand behind employees. Needless to say took it to a local shop (Silversprings Automotive) where they were more than happy to have our business and all of our FUTURE BUSINESS, and my families business, etc. Will not buy another FORD on this basis alone. Rant over... so thankful for the businesses out there that know how to deliver on customer experience! More
