Our first Kia was a Spectra 5 that we bought in 2007 and we have been happy Kia customers ever since then. After our family started growing, we were thinking about buying a bigger car. We had a look at a Kia Rondo in January 2012, but the timing wasn't quite right for us back then. After taking our Spectra in for a service in October of 2012, Christine drove us home and on the drive told us about the great deals on Rondos that were available. So, one weekend we dropped by the dealership and noticed that they had a similar Rondo in stock than the one we had looked at in January. Christine took us for a test drive and answered all of our questions. This time around everything came together and we decided to buy the Rondo. Christine went out of her way to help us, going so far as playing with our two year old toddler and keeping him occupied while we were dealing with the paperwork. RJ handled the financial details and they both stayed an hour after closing time to make sure we were settled in our new Kia. An unfortunate mistake did happen in the financing department, but Dave Bare and Randy Heller made sure that we were more than compensated for this mistake. Dave also made sure to tell us that measures have been put in place to ensure that it never happens again to anybody. I can honestly say that the folks at Harris Kia do value their customers and they proved this to us in a number of different ways. Thank you Harris Kia, we will be back! More

I bought my Sorento SX a year ago from Harris Kia. Since then, all my experiences with the service department are excellent. Especially Mike House is a very experienced and accomodating Manager. I actually feel like at home when I come in for my regular service. Also, Kolbi is very nice,she has always a friendly smile on her face. But the whole staff seems to be very happy, friendly and really motivated. I only can recommend this dealership to others. I for sure will purchase my next vehicle from here again. I had went to the Kia dealership in town and was not very happy with the service or price. I decided to try the dealership upisland (Nanaimo). When I first met Christine I had told her that September was th happy with the service or price. I decided to try the dealership upisland (Nanaimo). When I first met Christine I had told her that September was the month I was able to purchase a car. Living in Victoria, I was able to talk to Christine and let her know what choices I wanted for a vehicle. She was able to get the vechile I wanted and all the choices I request in couple of days. I am very pleased with my 2013 KIA Soul. The service given from Christine and the rest of the team was excellent. They were very friendly and accomatdating. We decided to try out Harris Kia in Nanaimo because my wife and I were not that impressed with Graham Kia. Once we arrived at Harris Kia, Rachel approached us and right away everything was friendlier an wife and I were not that impressed with Graham Kia. Once we arrived at Harris Kia, Rachel approached us and right away everything was friendlier and better than Graham. We talked about us trading two cars for a 2013 Kia Soul 4U Luxury and right away the numbers were way better than Graham. After a few days of emails, we came to an agreement, and one week after our first visit we bought that car. Rachel is definitely our "car gal" and it was a pleasure dealing with her as well as Jeremy and we highly recommend making the trip to see them. It was well worth the drive. More

First, Rachel did a wonderful job of showing me the vehicle I was interested in and answering all my questions regarding the vehicle. She also took me on a great test drive that enabled me to really get to know the vehicle. Then, after some haggling, when we settled on a price, Jeremy took us painlessly through the finance end of things. And the very next day my new vehicle was ready to drive home. My previous experience of purchasing a car was an absolute nightmare that gave me my first full blown anxiety attack. Needless to say I was very cautious entering the dealership. We needed a 'commuter' car and had decided on a Kia Soul. We had spoken with Grant on the phone and set up a time to see one of the used Kia Souls'. We met Grant for our appointment. He was professional, calm, knowledgeable and straight forward. All my questions were answered. (I tend to be a well informed shopper before making any large purchases) Grant was honest with us when we were weighing the pros and cons of new versus used and in negotiating the price. The overall feeling of the dealership is not one of high pressure sales, the employees are smiling and seem to be honestly customer service oriented. A refreshing find these days where a lot seems to be focussed on sell, sell, sell! Our positive experience carried over with the financial process and dealing with both RJ and Randy. The short and long of it...we drove away in a lovely little Kia Soul. What a huge difference from my last experience of buying a vehicle. We will not hestiate to recommend Harris Kia, Nanaimo to our friends and family for buying a new or used vehicle. More
