We had an amazing experience, due to the fabulous Nick Fabiano, one of the best salesmen I have ever met in my 57 years. Kudos also to Nick's extraordinary boss, the super friendly Evan Roose, used vehicle manager. Jameel Fayad gave us a great rate, and was totally professional. Well done Finch Hyundai! He answered my endless questions and made me feel comfortable with all my decisions. When I picked up my vehicle, it was raining, so he offered me a complimentary car wash and even gave me special cleaner for the exterior. Buyer Beware - Dealership overcharges I bought a new Hyundai Sonata in 2015. This past Thanksgiving weekend I got a flat tire. I was not too concerned as I had roadside assistance. I ca I bought a new Hyundai Sonata in 2015. This past Thanksgiving weekend I got a flat tire. I was not too concerned as I had roadside assistance. I called and CAA came out and asked me to pop the trunk so that he could retrieve the spare tire. To my surprise and horror, the mechanic told me that there was no spare tire. I had to have my car towed, and being Thanksgiving weekend many shops closed early, so I had it towed to Brian Finch Hyundai. This would not have been my first choice if it had happened on any other day. That being said, I had it towed to the dealership. I thought that they could just put on a new tire and I would be on my way. This did not happen. They had no tire for my car at the dealership. I had to wait until Tuesday to get a new tire. This was a huge inconvenience to me. They had no loaner car for me and I had to find my own way to work for the next couple days. It cost me $140 in cab fare which was an extra expense on top of the new tire which the dealership charged $35 more than any other place. If I had known that I would have to wait over the long weekend to get a new tire installed, I definitely would not have gone to this dealership. Finally Tuesday comes and I expect someone from the dealership to call me with an expected time for this tire to be installed. Instead, I called them at 2:45 PM after waiting all morning and ended up leaving a message for someone to call me back. I was not too happy and Jeff who call me back could not understand why I was so upset. This is no way to run a business. This was the final straw. Previous to this experience, I had a brake job done and was charged almost $1,400. which is way overpriced. I went to several different independent shops to have them review my bill and the overwhelming consensus was that I had been scammed. I have since found an honest mechanic would just like to warn other potential customers of this dealership and buyer beware. More

We were told that it had a thourough inspection and ser After reading some decent reviews about the Hyundai brand, we bought a used Accent from Finch. We were told that it had a thourough inspection and servicing. It was clean, nicely detailed and the body was in great shape. It drove well. The price seemed very good for the stated condition. We figured that buying from a Hyundai dealership would help ensure it was in decent shape, since the dealership reputation would be riding on the brand and product quality. That's the logic on which we based our trust. The sales experience was second to none because of Danny Chervonyi. Excelent fellow. Very polite and attentive. He was a pleasure to deal with. Based on that experience, we would have given a 5-star rating across the board and a resounding "Yes" recommendation. The lower ratings and the "No" recommendation in this review reflects our experience with the service department. After buying the car, we took it to our service garage right away for winter tires. The mechanics also gave it the once over and advised us that the power steering lines were seeping and that they were so rusty they should be replaced before they start leaking badly - or fail altogether. Our mechanic would not have passed it for safety in this state. We went back to the dealership with our obvious concerns and the used car sales manager said he would make it right, but the Finch Hyundai service manager said, since the lines were just seeping and not "leaking" it passed minimum safety standards, so - even though it was less than 30 days since purchase - the service department would not fix the problem as part of the sale. Their quote to have us pay for the repair was substantially higher than at our own mechanic. They also told us that a squeal that had developed in the steering was because the serpentine belt was an older, after-market brand that had stretched and would need to be replaced. We had the steering line replacement done at our service garage. The belt, as it turned out, was fairly new, not stretched and just needed a tension adjustment. The car also quickly developed a front-end rattle once the weather turned cold but, not trusting the quality of service at the dealership - if selling a car that just meets minimum standards is ok - we will also have our own mechanic deal with it. In fact, although we were given some free oil changes as part of the sale, we'll probably just pay for our seasonal service and oil change at our own mechanic. More
