Erinwood Ford responded

The sequence of events: You came in for an oil change and our tech found some additional repairs which needed to be done. We had trouble reaching you but got a hold of your Dad using one of the numbers you provided and he did in fact give a verbal authorization to do the work. The repairs were necessary and they were effective. I understand you were not happy that we could not reach you - but it is quite common to speak with other people in a household regarding repairs. Your engine light came on after this and you returned to the dealership whereby we assessed a sensor needed to be replaced. This was unrelated to the first repair and simply coincidental in terms of the timing. As the sensor was not in stock it was ordered. You then returned to the dealership to have the sensor replaced and you were charged. After this second repair there was an issue with your vehicle losing power and the ABS light came on. You returned to the dealership again and we determined that the sensor was not installed correctly. Our tech corrected the issue and there was no charge. The amount of $250.00 which was offered to you was more than the cost of the repair for the part which was installed incorrectly - as you had to return to have it fixed. I think that Erinwood has made you a fair refund offer.
