Money Hungry Dealership, Cant blame the employees I went into Budds' Chevrolet as it was the closest GM dealer in my area. I went in looking for a Camaro and they tried to take advantage of me. The mo I went into Budds' Chevrolet as it was the closest GM dealer in my area. I went in looking for a Camaro and they tried to take advantage of me. The model i was looking for was the 1LT as this is what fit within my budget. Budds happened to have the 1LT however it was the base one, without the RS package. I advised my salesperson i was looking for a short lease..... They ran a credit check and a few days later i received an approval email for 7 years FINANCING. Several Red Flags Arose Short After: - A major red flag was that immediately noticed upon receiving credit approval was that they wanted me to sign the bill of sale via email. At this point i hadn't even test-driven the car. - Another MAJOR red flag was, upon inspecting my "Sale Agreement" provided by the financing department, the purchase price jumped from MSRP $32,800 to $44,200. Thats $11,400 in ADDITIONAL charges that were added without consulting with me. The charges included $1,400 in "GAP Protection", $1,399 in "BodyShark Protection" $499 in Window tinting, $2,799 in "GMPP". I understand that it is in the dealerships best interest to up-sell the client however these additional features were never discussed with me prior to running a credit check. - Additionally, we had originally agreed on $0 down and upon inspection my purchase agreement, they had written the deal as $3,000 down on delivery, making the total purchase price $44,200. My warning to anyone who visits this dealership is READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING. Luckily i was diligent enough when reading my sale agreement and noticed the additional charges, however i can see why so many people fall into these traps. I also understand it is in the dealerships best interest to make as much money as possible however they lost a client in me by not being transparent and up-front about their additional services. I ended up going to a different dealership where i found a higher model Camaro for a lower price and now own a beautiful Camaro. It is a shame as Budds' is my local dealer and i would have loved to give them my business however they tried to take advantage of me and thought i wouldn't notice. With all this being said, i don't think it is the salespersons fault, he is simply trying to make a living and keep up with the work culture that Budds has set. Given that this dealership is in a wealthy demographic area i can understand their tactics. More

Sleaziest dealership I’ve ever dealt with. BEWARE I bought a car from this dealership. At the time of signing the contract I was given three different contracts and eventually wound up with one for 41 I bought a car from this dealership. At the time of signing the contract I was given three different contracts and eventually wound up with one for 41,000 on a used Chevrolet. The car itself cost 13,000 when I asked what the 41,000 was (my first car purchase and naive) rob powell told me that was the “insurance figures for the vehicle if anything happened to it.” He talked me into a super high interest loan of almost 23% and it has been struggles ever since with this dealership. I’ve tried to sell this hunk of junk three times and last summer I was offered 12,000 by the dealership last week I was offered 6,000 after I advised the co-applicant wished to be out of the loan. On top of all this, I’ve left numerous messages for bill Coombs, rob Powell Wayne carter, and two of the managers NOT ONE of them has called me back. It’s been months and no reply to phone calls or emails. This dealership is the absolute worst and they prey on vulnerable people. More

Basil & Budds' Cadillac THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We came to Budds' to not only to buy a car but also to create a very special birthday surprise for my Mom's 60th Birthday, and I am proud to say that We came to Budds' to not only to buy a car but also to create a very special birthday surprise for my Mom's 60th Birthday, and I am proud to say that Basil (the best sales man) and the dealership really blew away our expectations. Basil was incredibly friendly and did not have a typical in your face, pushy salesman approach which we really loved. He took his time to understand what we were looking for and gave us the best options along with as much time as we needed to make the best decision for us. When my Dad told Basil this was a Birthday surprise for my mom he right away suggested that the dealership can put up a banner and birthday balloons and that we can bring my Mom to the dealership and surprise her there, and from that second we knew Basil wasn't just your average salesman ..he was the kind that goes above and beyond for his clients which really made us feel like with this purchase not only are we getting an incredible car, and an amazing surprise but we were also become a part of a new family...The Budds' Family!! We also had the pleasure of doing the finance portion with Rob, he was really great and also took his time explaining all the options we had. He was really friendly and easy to deal with which was also a really fantastic experience. It's safe to say that my mom's birthday surprise ended up being a SMASHING SUCCESS, and we honestly couldn't have done it without Basil and Budds'. We had a decorator come to the dealership to decorate my mom's new car, and even though Basil was with another client he was incredibly accommodating to the decorator and took his time to step away from his client to come and move my mom's car so that it could be decorated how we had imagined. So we sincerely thank you Basil for your outstanding service, and the whole Budds' Family for everything you have done for us and my Mom's Special Day...we are so glad and proud to have become a part of the Budd's Family!!!
