ok, thanks. No, I wasn't ever brought in to the loop. So, leave it with me and I will report back. The most disturbing thing for me is the use of 'underhandedness' and 'scam', two words that should never be in a review of a company I have spent 25 years with building a good reputation. Trust me, I will deal with the employees that earned this review. And I get the 'money guy' position. I seem to have the same job with my kids...

Hello Wayne and thank you for the quick response. Yes, I am very upset over this experience and welcome your review of the situation. Clearly, whether intentional or not, the issues seem to add up to underhandedness and up to an outright scam. It's in the details. However, I would be happy for you to have a look into this and get back to me or my son personally once you have done so. I wrote the review just this morning after the last and final straw regarding the back-up camera issue so you can imagine that this is still very fresh and raw to both myself and my son who now has to take additional time off from his business to come back to put the back-up system right again. BTW, I spoke to people at your dealership (before the back-up camera system issue arose) about my concerns regarding the financing issues and they promised that you would get back to me shortly. Not sure if you were even told about it but I never got any response or call back at all. In all of this, the truck is for my son and his business and is in his name. I am only the "money" guy and his dad who is helping him through this. Just so you know the situation here.

Hi again Joseph, I have done my due diligence and had in-depth talks with all parties concerned. What I am comfortable with thus far as there was never any intent to deceive or mislead. What I am not happy with is the colossal failure to communicate clearly and quickly with you and your son. I think the lesson has been learned and I thank you for you for the opportunity to help some employees learn it. I would like to invite you to drop in and meet in person and at that time I can chat about what I learned for GMF and our owner Chris Budd as to what happened with the credit decisions and cheque approvals. That's confidential stuff so I would rather see you than write it. If a call suits you better that's fine too, but I'd like to meet you if possible. If that doesn't work, I totally understand. Anyway, I thank you again for the 'wake up call'-- I take these seriously and hopefully we are better off because of it. Wayne

Hello again Wayne and thank you for getting back to me. I thank you for your review of the situation and your understanding of my feelings regarding what was happening. As I understand it, my daughter-in-law was at your dealership yesterday and it appears that the issues have been put into motion to rectify the discrepancies on the truck. I believe your service department is ordering the parts and will take care of things in the next day or two. I plan on being in town on Thursday and will try my best to drop by and see you then if that's okay. I'm unsure of the timing so I hesitate to make an actual appointment but I will do my best.
