Tim Always Delvers I’ve purchased two vehicles from Tim and I can’t say enough about his excellent service both during and after a sale! When he says he’s going to take I’ve purchased two vehicles from Tim and I can’t say enough about his excellent service both during and after a sale! When he says he’s going to take care of you, he means it! I recommended him to my boyfriend who must have tested 8 trucks between ford and another make. He decided on the Ford F-350 because he loved the truck but he also respected how Tim and Manager AJ worked for the sale! Don’t go anywhere else but City Ford and ask for my guy, Tim! More

He worked with us to get the best deal possible, he went over and above in customer service, and actually got us a better deal than we had discussed initially. He is a man of his word, and we would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle that you should talk to Tim. We will definitely be back, and would 100% recommend Tim at City Ford to family and friends. More

We were gree I came to the dealership looking for a Ford Escape. I had already decided the model I wanted and was curious what City Ford had to offer. We were greeted by Tim Chammout who told us he would be looking after us and to take our time and look around - he would "be over there". As a sales manager, I appreciated that as I didn't want someone hovering over me while I looked on the lot. He came back after a few minutes, discussed what I was looking for, showed me the best deal and let me take it for a ride. Tim was very friendly, listened to us, and we arrived at the price we were looking for - plus a few extras. Tim threw in a few bonus' and has kept his promises - exactly what you need when buying a new car. Ask for Tim when at City Ford . . . . . you'll enjoy the experience! More

Continuing Circumstances Ronald Gagnon It is so wonderful to City Ford employees smiling..because I as a City Ford ex-customer..have a different outlook, as many of you have a Ronald Gagnon It is so wonderful to City Ford employees smiling..because I as a City Ford ex-customer..have a different outlook, as many of you have already seen..and to inform the four individuals who have continually "messaged" me as to my ongoing procedures, and how they could be instructed, I have to say: It is now Monday, January 29th, I have heard no more from City ford, or Ford Canada, who had tried to intervene to "correct the following issues I experienced for almost two weeks 1) I was origianaly sold a vehicle that had been previously sold by the "owner" 2) The "replacement vehicle I purchased, told it was a one owner vehicle..by the wife of one of their own sales people, and was promised a $3000 discount on..was sold to me at $3,999 above the agreed upon and signed sales contract (however this finalized contract, with the $4,100 Ford Protection Package and promised service agreement I purchased, was delivered to me by the courtesy driver, because City Ford had to keep the Ford Escape SE for 4 days to complete some service work and "detailing..he then left. I then looked over the documents, and noticing the price they had placed and added in fees they had promised to waive before we agreed upon the final sales price..and that they had financed the whole totally wrong amount through a Bank ( who I then had to contact and renegotiate myself..with no assistance from City Ford) I immediately drove down to city ford, and in a meeting with the salesperson and the sales manager, who angrily blamed it upon the finance manger, so we had a meeting in his office. After he "analalyzed" the document, he blamed it on an assistant who had placed a sales agreement for another Ford Escape on his desk at the same time. The resulting "discussion"drew the attention of an individual who walked into the office and asked what the problem was. When the salesman, not one of the "managers", started to explain the situation, the new individual asked if this pertained to the :"mistake" he had made. They said yes. So he asked what was being done. one again, the salesperson started to explain and said they had offered me $2,500 to "correct" this...but I had requested the full amount, not thinking at the time of the additional financing charges I would be incurring. The assumed owner..(who was, as I found out later while trying to have something else corrected, and meeting one obstacle after another, had requested to speak to, I was told that "she" did not deal directly with the public, and I would have to talk to the General manager, who unfortunately was not there at the time..and so on down the line, leaving me to have to leave a voicemail on the sales manager's phone, only to be called back the next day) asked if I would settle for $2,750...I was so fed up with the time and xxxxxxxx I had put up with up until that time, accepted. He then took a piece of scrap paper off the desk, wrote "$2,750 ", signed his name and got me to sign mine....there was nothing else on the paper at all. he then gave it to the salesperson, who brought back a cheque for that amount within ten minutes. i took it, shook hands with the "owner" and left. Nothing else ws signed or said. 3) a few months later, in the very cold weather, my battery died, and I was forced to call Roadside Assistance, as instructed by the expensive package I had purchased. The call went to ford in the United states..who then said they had to transfer me to Ford Canada. I then explained the whole situation to their representative, who explained that they had to contact an "independant contractor" in my city who could assist me. I was then cut off and had to start the whole proceeding again. Eventually, after about 5 hours a person in a simple 3 quarter ton truck with some name on the side, took out a portable booster and boosted my vehicle, telling me to let it run for a half hour and because it was such a new vehicle, it would be fine. I let it run for a half hour, then drove that vehicle 77 kms. For days later, the battery agan died and I had to go through the same rof events again. This time a different "representative" who boosted my vehicle, pointed out to me a cable that was attached to my battery, and asked if I had an external sound system hooked up in the truck.. I told him no, but when i purchased the vehicle, there was an external system hooked up in the trunk. I told the salesman at that time that not only did i want it removed, I did not even want the system itself. He promised to have it removed while the vehicle was being serviced prior to my taking the vehicle itself. They did not remove the entire system, only disconnecting the system and taping off the wires, leaving them attached to my battery. When the second "representative" told me that this was what was draining my battery in the cold, I asked if he could remove the cable. he said that neither he, not i could do so, as this would void my warranty. He boosted my truck and left. I tried to call city ford, who were unfortunately closed for the holidays. when I was able to contact them the following Monday, I was told by the service department that I would have to speak to my original salesperson...who, as luck would have it, was not in until the next day at 3:00 P.M.. So I phoned him, after a discussion, he remembered the situation and said it could be easily rectified..just drive down to the service department and have them remove the cable at no charge. So, I did. However, yes, the service department said it had to be removed by one of the "qualified technicians" who was very busy and could not do it that day, and that I would be charged the shop rate to have it done. I then explained to them the situation. They phoned the salesperson who told them to do it as soon as possible and City Ford would pay for HALF the cost. i booked it in for the following Thursday. Then, i decided as it was near the suggested 5,000 km service,i asked if they could do that at the same time, and was given a different date, and I choose the time they opened ,9:00 A.M. in order to assure it would even be finished the same day. Later, I was advised, that I did not have a service agreement in place because the "first owner" did not sell the agreement to the "second owner", so it could never have been legally transferred to me. I had been told it was a one owner vehicle and service would be covered. I asked the service manager what i would have to do have the remaining 9 "servicing" done. he advised me that I could probably do that at approximately the cost of $100. BUT, I had to talk to the Sales manager..so we phoned him. He remembered the transaction and asked if I could hold for awhile so he could review the "sales contract". OK. About ten minutes later he advised me that, as he could find nothing pertaining to this,I would have to talk to he Finance Manager, who, yes, you guessed it, would not be in until the next day, but I could talk to anyone in finance, if I wished, as he felt they could deal with this situation. naturally, i said OK, and was transferred to finance..where a person, after listening to the whole story, advised me that I could only deal with the Finance manager himself, as he was not authorized to deal with it. Upon phoning the finance manager the next day and explaining the situation he requested a few minutes to look into the matter. I agreed. he said there was nothing he could do about it, and I would have to beat the cost of all additional servicings. When I asked how much it would cost me to purchase a similar agreement, he took a few minutes to "look it up" and came back and told me about $2,000. I then hung up and phoned a auto shop I had previously dealt with for my two prior vehicles. They took me in immediately, replace the "damaged" battery and performed a complete servicing, including oil change and tire rotation and a complete electronic scanning of the trucks entire system. As well, they brought out samples of all the four fluids used in my vehicle..all discolored and advised me that all showed much more extensive wear than 5,000 kms would have incurred, and advised me that an interior ualty sensor was malfunctioning. All of this, plus over 60 more items were marked OK on the "vehicle inspection report" given to me at the time I purchased the vehicle..total charge $239. He also gave me a full report of other problems that had been uncovered, and their suggested repairs that would be required in the near future. I drove the vehicle home, and contacted the Sales Manager, Richard, who, yup..was not there at the time, so i left a voice message. He contacted me the next day and asked if we could meet for coffee to discuss this situation. I told him sure, if he brought a cheque for $5,000 with him..I had also by this time calculated what the additional interest cost was on the original contract. He hung up. Two days later I was contacted by a lady from Ford Canada, who asked if she could be of some assistance in rectifying the situation. I thanked her, but advised her that I as already placing this matter in the hands of my lawyer. I have heard nothing from ford since then. However, I did have a vehicle title search done, at my cost, which showed there were indeed 2 previous owners. I then had a complete inspection of the vehicle done by a certified "Provincial Inspection Mechanic, whose report, when matched against that I was given by City Ford to have had been done, and dated and signed by their inspector, four days previous to me having purchased the vehicle, showed glaring discrepancies. All of this was done at my cost, and I have submitted to my lawyer, who is in the process of preparing a law suit based upon illegalities, deliberate misrepresentations and costs and inconveniences I had incurred, as well as "punitive damages" Like I said..this not only to inform the four individuals who had contacted me subsequent to my posting of my first "review" but to warn, based upon MY experiences, anyone who is considering dealing with City Ford Sales and Service.
