Hi there, I'm Steve! I have been working for Whitby Toyota for over 35 years. Working in the Service Department for such a long period of time has given me the ability to connect with my clients on a regular basis. Many I know on a first-name basis, and it has been a pleasure of mine to develop and foster these relationships over the years. In addition to being a Service Advisor, I am also the Body Shop Manager at Whitby Toyota, and manage all repairs, estimates and connections with insurance companies. Great parts and service staff. Been a loyal customer for decades. They show you what is wrong and always fix the problem. Regular maintenance of my 2007 Yaris has allowed me to have 380,000 KM's on the odom decades. They show you what is wrong and always fix the problem. I took my new Tundra platnium in for it first service and the service generally good. Found my new Service Provider I drive to the GTA 2-3 times per year for business - and on this trip I began hearing 'the noise', which went from an occasionally annoying squeal to I drive to the GTA 2-3 times per year for business - and on this trip I began hearing 'the noise', which went from an occasionally annoying squeal to more pronounced. I became extremely worried that the noise was related to my rear brake calipers or a wheel bearing about to go. Knowing I will have a 700+ mile drive back home to Virginia I began questioning folks at work about a reliable place to get my problem diagnosed. A coworker recommended you folks at Whitby Toyota. I'm so glad I took his advice (I almost didn't go to your shop because of not-so-good service from my local Toyota dealer at home)! I was first impressed with the efficiency of the intake process. Being able to drive inside the shop and step out of my car right to the service desk was a pleasure. Mr. Steve Lord, Service Advisor, listened to my problem description and actually understood what I was trying to say - another pleasure. I was shown to your nicely-appointed waiting area while a Service Tech assessed the problem. Then Mr. Lord gave me the good news that my 'noise' was due to improperly installed brake pads instead of the life/vehicle threatening alternatives I had imagined. And the price estimate was great, especially for someone on a tight budget! After my car was fixed, Mr. Lord showed me a working model of a brake/caliper system and explained what had happened and how all the parts worked together - yet another treat. And then, when I went to my car, I asked why it looked so clean. Mr Lord told me that you wash every car that comes in for service - something a small-city girl never expected. In summary, I took a few business cards from Steve Lord and passed them out a work, along with glowing words about my service experience. I have decided that, if I can coordinate my regular service/maintenance needs with my trips up to Canada, I will bring my car to you. Thanks to Steve Lord for making my experience so pleasant and thanks to your service staff for relieving my worries about driving home. More

A Feel Good Auto Purchase We bought a Toyota Sienna 12 years ago from Whitby Toyota just before our 4th child was born. As our daughter aged so did the Sienna. It took us all o We bought a Toyota Sienna 12 years ago from Whitby Toyota just before our 4th child was born. As our daughter aged so did the Sienna. It took us all over North America including Hilton Head, North Carolina and 5 eastern provinces all the way to Halifax. It hauled countless pieces of furniture and supplies with it’s trailer hitch to our cottage and served us well for the 12 years with the help of the efficient and compassionate service department at Whitby Toyota. Finally we felt it was time for a new vehicle and we were lucky to have met Gary Brown at Whitby Toyota who helped us make the decision to get a new and improved Sienna. His expertise and years of experience made us feel very comfortable when negotiating the deal. He was very patient with us with no sales pressure at all. When the Sienna arrived he spent about 2 hours with us that evening after I finished work giving us a crash course on this incredibly high tech vehicle. We could have used 20 hours but 2 hours was very generous. As we left for home with the new Sienna Gary told us to make a shopping list of questions about the Sienna and then call him for an appointment for another lesson. We couldn’t have found a more caring and competent person to help us with this major purchase. We certainly will continue to have Gary help us with any future purchases. It was because of Gary and the service representatives that always make you feel at home and important that made us come back to Whitby Toyota. You can tell when someone likes their job by their demeanour and helpfulness. The service advisors at Whitby Toyota always seem happy to be there unlike some dealerships I have dealt with in the past where the service advisors seem like they would like to be anywhere else but work. Thank you Gary and thank you all at Whitby Toyota. We love our new Sienna!! More

Service beyond my expectations I've been a customer at Whitby Toyota for almost 25 years, and consider myself a loyal, but not always easy to please supporter of the brands I choose I've been a customer at Whitby Toyota for almost 25 years, and consider myself a loyal, but not always easy to please supporter of the brands I choose to purchase. ( Toyota is at the top of that brand list.) Recently I had a few issues which were further compounded by some miscommunication regarding some service related issues. After today,I want to extend my true gratitude to the whole Toyota team for not only making things right, but going way beyond what I could/ should have expected to happen in order to resolve these issues. This type of service is rare to find. My loyalty to Whitby Toyota and it's team of professionals remains as true today, as it did the first day I walked into the showroom some 25 years ago. More
