Bad experience - will never go back This amended review under duress from the suggestion of legal action is an honest review in my opinion of my personal experience with Peel Chrysler an This amended review under duress from the suggestion of legal action is an honest review in my opinion of my personal experience with Peel Chrysler and their staff. This review is in no way aimed at receiving any financial compensation nor is it intended to damage Peel Chrysler's reputation. I was not provided the agreed upon discounted price of $1500 off during negotiations. The price listed online was $1000 less than the price presented on my bill of sale at delivery. While arguing that the price was higher, the price was changed online while sitting in the dealership. The price was discounted on the bill to reflect the price change after extensive argument. The answer I was given was they reserve the right to change the price at anytime, even at the time of delivery. I was provided with 2 extra fees on my original bill of sale. $699 admin fee, $299 PDI. These fees were removed as they are not customary for used vehicle purchases. Confirmed by other dealerships. I was charged $85 for a full tank of gas. I was charged $1390 to "buy down" the interest rate to 0% for the first year in exchange for purchasing a service contract. I was not told of this charge in advance. The service contract did cost almost $5000. This was never submitted after purchase but was later rectified. The rear view camera was to be repaired before delivery. It was not. The fully refundable deposit was not initially refunded. After attempting to walk away from the transaction over just $100 it was refunded. I was offered $500 to help make me satisfied in the hopes that I would change the original review. Once I declined this offer I was told I am playing with fire and there are very expensive lawyers ready to deal with the situation. I do have a witness to all of the above claims. My overall experience was poor. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and will never return. One star is too many. More

Be warned, especially out of towners. I originally wrote a shorter review with less information but after being called and threatened by a employee, then calling and leaving multiple voice I originally wrote a shorter review with less information but after being called and threatened by a employee, then calling and leaving multiple voice mails for the gm to please call me. Then finally having a phone call with the GM which was the most unprofessional conversation I've experienced ending in a screaming match I thought I may as well post the full details. I live in northern Ontario and purchase vehicles just before next year release when incentives are high. This results in the best deal, but stock is low and finding a vehicle equipped how I want it is sometimes difficult. There were no ram's local to me in eco diesel big horn package so I had a friend email any dealers advertising those vehicles to see if they would match or better the trade in price I was offered locally on a Eco diesel ST trim. Peel was one of those dealers. I was offered $24,000 +tax trade in and peel had multiple (6+) big horn Eco diesels in my preferred color choice. I exchanged texts with Emad for several weeks and was very frustrated my questions were going unanswered. He refused to give me actual numbers and would only give offers in bi-weekly payments. I requested truck purchase price be what we dealt with not bi-weekly payments over a dozen times. After being frustrated with how things were going I picked up the phone to see if that would improve communication. It did not. Finally after 3 weeks we had agreed on a trade in, purchasing price, no hidden fees, financing was done, a vehicle pick up date (June 27th, 12pm) was agreed to. June 27th 12:15 I arrived at dealer in 34 degree heat and was left waiting for Emad until 1:20pm. While looking over paper work the vehicle trade in was $21,000 not the agreed $24,000. There was also several hidden fees. Instead of admitting a mistake or communication error Emad said I was being ridiculous to assume $24,000 trade in was plus tax. I asked if the agreed vehicle purchase price was tax in also. Obviously it was not. I was very upset I was being lied to. Had he owned up and offered anything, even a oil change or gas card I would of called it good. I signed the deal despite being upset about being lied to. It was a competitive out the door price, although not worth the trip south I was already there. Absolutely nothing was shown to me on the new vehicle. I wasn't asked if I had any questions. No hand shakes exchanged at end of deal. It was obviously not a good experience for both parties. Several days later I wrote the short review as mentioned above. About a day or two later Emad sent me text messages from his private phone saying he would like to discuss the deal. At the point of driving off the lot I consider the deal COMPLETED. I blocked his number and went about my business. The following day I missed a phone call from Peel and there was a voice mail. Emad was very upset from the review. Said we needed to re-discuss the terms of the deal. If I didn't get back to him there would be consequences and he would take other avenues. I left two voice mails with the gm that same day after receiving that voice mail. Another phone call and voice mail the following morning. Later he called me back and wanted to know why I left a bad review. At no point would he comment or acknowledge the threatening voice mail I received. I told the full details. His only comments were why did I sign then, and I misunderstood. I repeatedly told him why, he continued to ask over and over again while raising his voice. It ended in a screaming match with me hanging up. There are a lot of bad reviewers from out of towners. I would caution anyone driving long distances that it seems like they take advantage of that fact. They know they'll never see you again for parts and service so squeeze just enough out of the deal so you don't turn around and walk away. They got their sale, and another bad review to go along with it. In the end I'm extremely happy with the big horn. It was a lot of frustration and I despise being lied to, but I know I simply would never of been happy with a ST mode. Maybe I should of walked away, but given the same situation again I'd take the truck again. More
