I hit a deer and wrote off my previous vehicle. Since we paid off my husbands truck we decided to go in on the purchase of my new Yukon together. Mohammad Malik was a wonder to deal with, 10 out of 10 will definitely be dealing with him again! He was quick, efficient and he made sure I was able to get all the options I wanted. He keep me up to date with how the build of my Yukon was progressing, even when there was no new news, and when the day came for me to sign the papers and pick it up he made sure to make it the most memorable experience (as it was my first new car purchase) Maulik Shah on the other hand was the complete opposite kind of experience, I will make sure I get another finance person the next time I deal with Capital GMC. He would only speak to my husband, even after we expressed that he was there solely sign the papers, that the vehicle was mine. He did not talk or ask any questions while doing up the papers (except to ask my husband about added warranty...) He did not bother looking around or asking if we had a preference on which bank our loan was through (we both bank at RBC our loan is through Scotia) when we asked him to change it he said it would take another 45 min.... (we had been with him for 50 min already) If that wasn't bad enough, when he printed off the contract for us to sign.... my husband was put as Primary on the loan, when we asked him to change it he told us " it didn't matter who was first" I left his office xxxx near in tears, I have never felt so degraded & inconsequential. This might seem petty to some but this was MY First New Car experience, every piece of mail that comes in related to the car is addressed to my husband. The car will never truly feel like mine. More
