Frankly, we were dreading the process due to a bad car-buying experience we had several years ago. Much to our pleasure Yannick was low key and understanding of our nervousness. He provided information in a straight forward, personable way. We went into Lockwood looking for a used Optima. Yannick showed us a few other options including the 2018 Demo model - that we finally purchased. We were very open with Yannick about the fact that we were looking at a couple of different vehicles including one in particular that was at another dealership. Yannick was very professional about discussing the pros and cons of the other non-Kia vehicle we were considering. During our discussions/negotiations, Michael Holguin also worked with us to provide, pricing and financing options. Michael was straight-forward, enthusiastic and understanding with us as we discussed our options. Finally, Janel walked us through our warranty options and finalized our paperwork. We spent several evenings at Lockwood looking at cars and discussing options and they all kept our energetic toddler son busy so the parents can have an easy time. You don't see that everyday! Charles Divita is a very knowledgeable and over-all sweet guy to deal with. He was very patient with our multitude of questions and even waited after closing time so we were satisfied with our purchase. He knows the cars inside-out. Michael Holgiun took us through the financing/leasing part of the process and explained everything very clearly. But watch out, his high spirit and exuberance is contagious! Michael DeFreitas is the GM and an absolute delight to deal with. A real professional. We worked out the pricing of the new car and trade-in of our old car all on his computer. Very transparent in the numbers were working with, so at no point do you get any doubts or feel you're being taken for a ride. In most other dealerships, you never even get to see the GM in any part of the process. Thanks Mike! Lockwood Kia is a model dealership for customer service and delivery. I've been recommending them to our friends and family and if you're in the market for a Kia, you should definitely pay them a visit. It's worth it! More
