Worst experience ever. Dealer tried to change cars on me three times as well as the numbers($) and mileage from the agreed original deal. Also, put fewer miles on invoice. It took eleven days to receive my three times as well as the numbers($) and mileage from the agreed original deal. Also, put fewer miles on invoice. It took eleven days to receive my car with no loaner option. Never again, beware! More

Deceptive Tactics, Zero Customer Service My wife and I leased a vehicle from Lexus of Pembroke Pines in February, 2020. Included in the deal was the dealership agreeing to pay the remaining My wife and I leased a vehicle from Lexus of Pembroke Pines in February, 2020. Included in the deal was the dealership agreeing to pay the remaining two payments of the expiring lease on the Acura TL. (The Acura was turned in with 9000 miles remaining on the lease and it was showroom clean.) Imagine our surprise when two weeks ago, early June 2020, we received a letter in the mail from Acura demanding disposition fee of $375 was overdue. I immediately began reaching out to Lexus of Pembroke Pines to correct what I assume was an oversight on their part. I contacted the salesman who we worked with, Zee Hanif. Two days after leaving a voice mail he returned my message. I explained the situation and Zee replied that Lexus was only responsible for the payments and nothing else. He then went on to say that if the customer asks at the time, Lexus will usually pay that fee. I argued that is deceptive and underhanded and, besides, “I’m asking now.” He said he would check with his manager and get back to me. Crickets. Two more voice mails left, two more weeks passed, and nothing from Zee. I moved up the ladder to Luis Llorens, the sales manager. He, also, was very charming and concerned when we met at the dealership. Of course, we hadn’t signed on the dotted line yet. It took 3 calls and 1 test message to get Luis on the phone. When I began to explain my dissatisfaction over this fee they were refusing to pay, he abruptly cut me off to tell me he was aware of the situation but they weren’t paying the fee and never do. When I advised him that Zee told me otherwise, he brushed it off with, “I don’t know why he would say that but it’s wrong.” But he DID say it. Bottom line: Lexus of Pembroke Pines isn’t a dealership I would recommend. Forcing an overpriced option on the customers by claiming it was a factory installation, and lying about taking over the payments and fees on my trade in, they are the poster child for all things sleazy about car dealerships. Word to the wise: be sure to require the dealership to agree in writing that they will cover the disposition fee and any additional charges that may be required to close out your existing lease. If they balk, you walk. More
