The Ultimate Review......trust me - Fady Girgis
WARNING: THIS WILL NOT BE A SHORT REVIEW. If you want a thorough review with regards to Rogers Motors and all you will ever need to know about their customer care, mechanic service and pricing, this is the review for you. That being said, here it is.
I would like to start by providing background as to who this Rogers Motors Team is before I continue to discuss aspects of their work. I would know all this because I have had multiple discussions with the family as if they were mine and in order for me to truly provide a detailed review, I feel this information is vital into truly understanding the whole Rogers Motors brand. Rogers Motors is a family owned and operated business consisting of the father (Refaat) and his three sons (Roger, Ray and Mathew). The father has been in and around cars from such a young age and has raised his three sons with this same environment of being around cars at such a young age as well. The reason why I feel the need to state this and believe it is of significance is, this alone to me shows the family is not just in the business for the sake of business, but also because they genuinely enjoy the type of business. Especially in such a business which is regarded and continuously found reputable as the most corrupt and devious business, I never felt, I REPEAT I NEVER felt any of that when dealing with Rogers Motors.
With regards to any car dealership, one needs to address three fundamental aspects such as customer care, mechanic service and the overall pricing of both the previous aspects. I found in all three characteristics, Rogers Motors does not only excel, but horrifically trumps the other used car dealerships.
First off; customer care. I had a 2001 Dodge Neon which had been banged up, rusted, and so many problems it was due to die on me within a few months. I wanted to get ahead and search for a car so in case my car finally gives away; I am able to know which car I want and where to purchase it. I had quickly performed a search for a Nissan Rogue which was the car I was interested in on Google, and Rogers Motors website popped up. I looked through their inventory, found exactly what I was looking for and for a great price. I thought it was too unreal to be true, so that is why I felt the need to physically go and check out the car. When I first walked into Rogers Motors around late 2011, I was greeted by Mathew. Great Guy! Asked me why I wanted the Rogue and if I wanted that car specifically or similar. Gave me the keys, left me alone to just look at it. I have never had or even heard of anyone in the business performing such an act. That alone impressed. I fell in love with the car. Great condition, in the color I had wanted, low kilometers; overall, exactly the car I envisioned in my head with the budget I envisioned. The only “make it or break it” deal for me was going to be how much I was going to get for my neon. And yes you guessed it, I received the best price anyone has ever offered me for my trade in car. I didn't even have to wait for my car to die on me, this was an opportunity that I didn't want to regret so I had to act. Unfortunately, I didn't have the cash up front, and I stated that issue to Mathew discretely, he in turn looked at me with “don’t worry, we can solve this for you”. What do you know, he set me up with a great financing deal and before I knew it, I had a 2008 Nissan Rogue(which I currently still drive today) as of March 2012. I WAS NEVER PRESSURED INTO PURCHASING ANYTHING. Warranty was advised for my benefit, which I chose not to purchase, but I WAS NEVER PRESSURED, which is the main point. So far customer care has been over and beyond and I couldn't be more happy and satisfied. Within a couple of days, I had my new car ready to go without any extra hidden fees or hassle. I simply arrived on pick up day, both brothers Ray and Mathew, congratulated me and I was on my way. I had purchased a few cars from prior dealerships, new and used, and pick up day was never this easy. Customer Care, Check!
Now, moving forward to Mechanic Service. Rogers Motors provides car service on their cars which they have sold to you and we all know that every car needs standard maintenance such as oil changes. Within three months, I needed a typical oil change routine, I called, made an appointment, went in for the service, and left. None of this "oh, it needs this or that" routine we are so used to seeing. This oil change was exactly just that, an oil change. That made sense to me because I barely drove the car for the first few months, so there shouldn't have been any need for anything major;HONESTY AT ITS FINEST!I promise you all that the "oil change routine" is still going on until today, and until today it is the same thing; if something needs to be repaired or replaced, I'm notified, if it doesn't.....it doesn't. Quick, Easy, and all for a fair price. However, every car throughout its use it does through “wear and tear”. This is where I want everyone to pay attention. I’m sure everyone has been to either a private mechanic before or went through their car dealer and know the sky rocketing prices everyone mostly charges; well not Rogers Motors. They provide fair prices for what service you require. The first incident of “wear and tear” I had with them was my brakes. I brake a lot, I know I have that problem in my driving, so this alone causes me to overuse the brakes than normal. I have never been offered such a competitive price for quality brakes. I would also like to mention that have purchased both winter tires and a new set of all season tires for the lowest price on the market. Whatever budget you have, they will find you your item. Once again, I was impressed with now another aspect of Rogers Motors. This next situation really showed me the integrity and character as Rogers Motors with regards to mechanic service. In my household, I also have a 2005 Dodge Caravan WHICH WAS NOT PURCHASED FROM ROGERS MOTORS. I had a problem with the water pump and the van was overheating. This was around late summer so the weather was still fairly hot so this problem needed to be resolved instantly. I decided just to call Mathew and see if he knew anyone or anything that can be done. I mean so far this place has not let me down, why would I not try and call them. Anyways, Mathew is in no way, shape or form, obligated to help me. At this point if he said, “sorry, I will try and see” or “sorry, I’ll get back to you”, and didn't, I still wouldn't be upset because at this point everything on the car he sold to me has been perfect, however THIS CAR IS NOT FROM HIS LOT and anything that is to be done would be out of having integrity and to stay loyal to the customer. Anyways, I brought in my van, problem was resolved and resolved for once again a fair price. This service to my Nissan Rogue or to my Van has been ongoing throughout this whole time. Service ranging from simple windshield wiper replacements to a new exhaust on my van, has been exquisite. Mechanic Service, Check!
Lastly, time to discuss pricing! This is the main aspect everyone always looks to with regards to purchasing used cars! I briefly discussed the pricing situations from when I purchased my Car back in 2012 and pricing throughout my required service. However, I cannot emphasize how much the pricing provided by the Rogers Motors team is HONEST and FAIR. I GUARANTEE THAT NO MATTER WHERE YOU WILL GO, WHETHER IT BE TO PURCHASE A NEW QUALITY CAR OR FOR SERVICE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A BETTER PRICE THAN THE ONE PROVIDED BY ROGERS MOTORS. I am one of those people that believes you get what you pay for. That being said, depending on what you are looking to do to your car, whether it is winter tires for the harsh GTA winters, or it is brakes for all those quick brakers such as myself, do not think twice, and go to Rogers Motors. Pricing, Check!
I was going to wait to post a review when I returned my vehicle. I never thought it made sense to post a review after just purchasing a car because you can’t really assess such aspects of a dealership unless it’s over time. The reason why I decided to post this review now, rather than sooner or later, because now I am currently out of province and my car is currently being used by my mother and my car needed another oil change routine. I was on the phone with my mother and she could not stop talking about how great she loved Rogers Motors. My mother always felt like she was being hassled to fix something unnecessary on the car, or that her car needs this or that and we all know the rest of the story. However, even with my family, I can completely trust Rogers Motors. At this point, not posting a review is just me being unjust to a business that has only treated me and my family, like family.
Rogers Motors is not just your typical used car dealership. Everyone on the team, and they work as a team, wants to help find you exactly what you are looking for. I genuinely wish all businesses are run this way with such friendliness, truthfulness, reliability and honesty. I have concluded in my life, that no matter what vehicle I am looking to purchase, whether for me or any of my family members, Rogers Motors is the place. I trust the quality, I trust the service and I trust the pricing provided along the way. You will not regret your decision to go to Rogers Motors. They work so hard to maintain their brand with a good reputation and that alone goes such a long in such a corrupt and dirty industry.
I hope this review has been detailed enough. I am not writing just based upon word of mouth but also based upon real life experiences. I am not surprised to see them already maintaining such a good reputation and rating in all these previous reviews. Just seeing that alone proved to me that I am not delusional and that everything I feel towards Rogers Motors is true and fact!
