Review of Land Rover Waterloo – Buyer Beware
I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Land Rover Waterloo that has completely soured what should have been an exciting vehicle purchase. They gained and lost a customer in one breath.
The sales representative I dealt with provided false information repeatedly. It’s now clear he would have said anything to secure a sale. His lack of knowledge led to ongoing issues that I am still dealing with, and the moment the sale was completed, communication from the dealership became nearly impossible.
There were numerous loose ends that required attention after the sale, but once they had my money, customer service disappeared. I waited two weeks just to hear back from the sales rep. I escalated to the sales manager—another two weeks of waiting. I then escalated to the general manager and still waited yet another week for a response. No urgency, no accountability.
It took over a month to receive my deposit back, despite being told it would be refunded immediately once the sale went through. I had to push repeatedly for answers, and even when dealing with the general manager, I was met with vague replies and avoidance of direct questions.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction, there was zero ownership of the dealership’s mistakes—only a hollow “sorry you feel that way” response. This attitude of deflection and lack of integrity seemed to run through all levels, from sales up to management.
Due to this experience, I will never buy another vehicle from Land Rover Waterloo and will not even consider servicing my vehicle there. I would rather drive out of town for service than deal with this dealership again.
Buyers beware—this is not the level of professionalism or service you should expect from a luxury dealership. Shame on you Land Rover Waterloo.
