I had to replace my engine, and it took me almost a month to repair it. Toronto Hyundai did their best to get approved my claim with Hyundai Canada. I did not have extended warranty warranty; thus, I was not able to get free rental more than 5 days. Other than that, everything was really great.
I really appreciate for kindness the Service Manager who was very patient and pleasant with me.

Just wanted to say that I have had the best warranty service I've ever experienced with Performance Hyundai.
I brought my 2016 Sante Fe XL in due to a noise that could be heard with the revolutions of the engine. It was a difficult thing to diagnose as you could only hear it when the car was in gear and moving. Long story short, Hyundai made every effort to figure out what it was. After several expensive repairs, they finally found the issue and fixed it.
At no point did I have to continue pressing them to do the work. Actually, I was ready to just live with the noise but the service manager insisted they get to the bottom of it.
Just based on my experience alone there is a good chance I'll end up with another Hyundai. Wanted to take the time to post my experience on here, as it should be recognized.

WORST SERVICE, WORST DEALERSHIP - BROO
After purchasing a Hyundai with a recalled, blown engine, this is the customer service I get to enjoy from Hyundai trying to recover the engine replacement cost:
We were promised time after time that it would be resolved "within the next few days" with no follow-up calls when we didn't hear back. It is 3 months to-date that I submitted this claim to Cambridge Hyundai.
The service rep Alexus told me that there isn't anything she can do. I was told that she didn't sell me a faulty engine. She has other clients, so she can't keep following up with the warranty rep. And that this should've been taken care of when the engine blew up last summer.. it's it's not her problem? Like I signed up to replace a blown engine when I bought the car?
When I asked to speak to her manager she kept telling me he's not available. When I kept insisting I'm not getting off the phone, sure enough her manager is available! He kept interrupting me and talking over me and when I asked for follow-up calls if the given timelines aren't going to be met. He asks me "so when do you want me to call you? Every day? Every hour?" When I reiterated that when you give me a timeline and you can't meet it, I would like a phone call. I got a lot of condescending tones, talking down to and was told snidely this is a circular conversation and he cut the conversation short.
I am even more disappointed in the service than my blown engine.

The service at this visit was the same as the service at every visit-excellent. I was greeted by Jason as I walked in the door and within a few minutes I was sitting in the waiting area. I was at the dealership less than half an hour for an oil change and a few other minor details. The service that I received when I purchased the car was what convinced me to stay with their service department. I have recommended this dealership to friends and family and our eldest daughter and her husband recently purchased a new vehicle here.

I have taken my wife's Genesis here for service several times after having a lousy experience elsewhere. Mike the GM is outstanding and very client experience focussed. The service has been excellent. Most recently we had an significant brake issue making the car unsafe and they were booked for the next 2 weeks. They managed to squeeze us in and fixed it quickly as we needed the car for a lengthy trip the following day. Highly appreciated and highly recommend.

Hyundai Electra 2017. I had bad experience with the mechanic service. I Went to change my front wheel bearing. They were expensive parts and labour . They changed the left side but not the right side of Wheel bearing. One wheel bearing is $370 roughly each side. I paid approximately between 8 to 900. Unfortunately a year later I found out the other wheel bearing was making some noise. This time I went to my own mechanic and we opened the front wheel bearing. We found out one was replaced and the other one wasn’t. The work was done on the left side of the wheel bearing but did not do it to the right side. We removed both sides to replaced a new one.
My mechanic showed me the difference between the left and right sides and you could absolutely see the difference between them. So I paid for a part of $370 plus labour and I got scammed. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. You will never find out ether the job is done properly or not. That is just dishonest.

Took my 2014 Genesis Coupe to get my winter tires put on. They charged me $1 per bag for my wheels and they ripped them putting my wheels back in my car. I gave them Specific instructions to remove the Centering rings from my aftermarket summer rims and place them in the cup holder which they did not do. It took them over an hour and a half to swap 4 tires on rims! this should take 30min tops!
