Terrible service…. I had to keep calling them for several weeks to get an update… THOMAS SPECIFICALLY KEPT ON MAKING UP EXCUSES OR HE DIDNT ANSWER THE PHONE…. The only thing they did that was good was replacing the engine and my assumption is because its probrably as easy as counting 1, 2, 3….. besides the excuses they kept making and the promises to call me back and NEVER CALL BACK, I HAD TO KEEP CALLING THEM AND GETTING PUT ON HOLD THEN NOONE answers…. I went to pickup my vehicle from them after weeks later of crap, they promised me a detailing and said they washed my car. I go to my car and its dirty to xxxx, i come in for the detailing they said they will do interior because exterior was already completed(so they say) i bring it in and i waited an hour for them to literally wash my car mats…. the rest of my xar was still in filth…. I suggest going her if you like being duped and played like an idiot!!! Oh i also forgot to mention that they made me type up a proper review so it makes rhem look good and rhey will throw in the detailing for that…. looks like they just wanted to look good but not do good in my opinion… i dont reccomend to ANYONE ID HONESTY RATHER DRIVE TO HAMILTON HYUNDAI

Try to make me think a free alignment after messing my steering wheel was a good deal. Liars and crooks at this dealership. Samantha responds to my review on Google. I call her back to see what she has to say. Leave her a voice mail. I'm Still waiting for a call back. Poor customer service.

I have been bringing both of my Hyundais in for service at this dealership for almost 2 years now. At first everything was great but lately the service has gone downhill. Lately we have had to endure excessively long wait times for simple routine services (oil changes, winter tire swaps). The only time the service department ever reached out to keep us updated on the work was a recent trip when they called to say that our car, which had a 1 pm appointment, would not be ready before the dealership closed - this was 5 hours later, for a job that should have taken no more than 30 minutes. Despite these long waits we were never once offered an apology or a courtesy shuttle to take us home. I will be going somewhere else in the future.

I recently took our Santa Fe in for a recall and was disappointed in the lack of help in the service booking area. Use to be two people, now one. Shortly after leaving our car for a replacement part/inspection, I receive a call that the car needs new rotors on the back because they are "rusty". Now every rotor rusts on the edges but that does not mean it needs replacing. That was intended to grab money while the car was in their hands. This dealership is hurting and senior sales people have left along with other staff that made this dealership work. I believe something really wrong is going on here and for that reason I am going to drive to London or Stratford for our next purchase/service.

Yesterday 17th of June, I got a call that the hitch I pre-ordered has arrive. Same day an appointment was scheduled at 2:30 pm for it to be installed. I check-in with there service department one hour early. I told the service advisor the purpose of the visit was for the installation of a hitch I have pre-ordered. He acknowledges it saying its in there system. Subsequently, an oil/oil filter change and supplemental canister installation (a voluntary recall thing) was included.
At 4:17 pm I paid my bill for 1. Hitch installation 2. Oil/oil filter change ++
Upon getting to my car - no hitch was installed! I called the attention of the service advisor and all he said was they will bring the car back in for hitch installation - never even explained what happened which I consider rude. The GM offered many excuses which sounded insincere and even offered to detail my car for free which I declined. For me I bring my car to the dealer for servicing with full trust that they will do there utmost best but that trust is broken. The work order is very clear - install trailer hitch. I like Hyundai cars but never again.

The Management team does not believe in Customer Service. When buying a car from this location be aware of everything and if there are any changes please ensure it is written down and initialed. I have been in twice now to try to get ignition coil issue dealt with. Problem is the Engine Light does not always stay on and if scan shows nothing you have to pay for it. Last time in one of Service Managers said if it comes on again bring it in so we can at least put it on scanner to get code then make an appointment to repair it for a later date. It has been a few months waiting for it to stay on so it can be scanned. We have not been able to drive anywhere as when it acts up car vibrates and feels like it will stall out. So basically car is useless to us as cannot trust it to safely get us to or from our destination safely. Finally stayed on long enough today and took it to dealer, as we were told to do. The Service Manager on duty said in no uncertain terms that he could “not pull someone off changing tires as this is their busy season” so would have to make appointment to come back!!!! Now back to getting it to stay on long enough to scan and hope they are available but guess that will be in winter as now is tire season!! So, after several months of this, we have again been told to come back. FYI as got fed up we took car to a mechanic to scan (for FREE mind you) and even though Engine light was still on and car was “vibrating” NOTHING CAME UP IN SCAN! Oh yes and car mileage on scanner shows car having much more mileage on it than it shows on dash! Not even sure how that would work. We have given up and ordered the parts to be installed by a mechanic which will cost several hundred dollars (would have been under warranty at the dealer).

Waited for months to get an appt due to covid, finally got in, was told because the maintenance was never done at Myers and receipts I had were not totally complete, extended warranty would not cover any repairs, engine etc. Was given estimate on how much it would cost to inspect all complaints and I told them I would get back to them. I lefta message less then 24 hrs later to not do anything to car and do t touch it. I would pick up car asap. Went to pick up car 24 hrs later to find bill for inspections. What part of DO NOT TOUCH THE CAR do they not understand. Not a happy camper right now. Last time I deal with Hyundai.

Be sure you tell them upfront you don’t want the extra security device. They don’t tell you that the police have no way of tracking your car with this device in it. Device is 2 black poker chip sized discs that no one can see. They can’t show you them because each salesperson sticks them somewhere different. No one knows where they are.. Read the site for KYCS.ca. Or better still1(866)800-4111 Ext 3 ‘This the Safety device sales people stationed in Schoenberg Ontario. KYCS at first said you call them with your police report and they then activate the device in your car and tracking begins. I called the police in Newmarket as I had been told police all over North America had systems in their cruisers to track the sensitive new technology. The police tracking officer I spoke to said they have no such technology and had never heard about this type of device..
I went online to research the KYCS device. The device can only be tracked from a radius of 20km from where your car was first stollen from.. NOT all over North America. The cost to YOU is minimum $1,000 to start the search. NO they told me police can’t track the device. They use a special equipped car to track the device. Thus the reason for the $1,000 to initiate the search that can only look in a 20km radius.
I called back the KYCS dealer . By now they were getting fed up with all my calls questioning how exactly it worked and that police couldn’t be part of the search. The fellow in a frustrated tone said, “We just sell the devices to Newmarket Hyundai what they do with them or arrangements re tracking services is up to them.” My question remains to Newmarket Hyundai. How in good conscience can you firstly not ask permission before inserting these discs at a cost Of $700? Secondly why aren’t you providing each customer with a print out of exactly how the vehicle is tracked. That there is a potential of $1,000+Cost to have the vehicle tracked? Who pays for that. Also be up front about only being able to track ins 20km range so people can make an informed decision whether to purchase the system or not.
Automatically installing an additional safety system when the car already has a factory installed one is nothing but a money grab.
Thank you for refunding my cost for the system I never wanted installed. It was quite a fight for that refund spanning several months. Perhaps my reporting of the police denial of them being able to track it all over North America, even in parking lots or police driving past underground parking and their new devices in cruisers being able to pick up the signal. Maybe the KYCS sales dealer became frustrated with you and said to get me to stop the calls. From reading another review in 2021 where you refused to remove the device and they didn’t receive a refund I realize you didn’t do for me out of the “goodness of your heart.”
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN THINKING: SHOULD I DEAL HErE?
