Terrible service department. Took car in for a simple oil and filter change. It took four hours. I have recommended this service center, please take that with a pinch of salt and read more than just my review. I have a few comments that you should be aware of. This service center will always recommen with a pinch of salt and read more than just my review. I have a few comments that you should be aware of. This service center will always recommend something extra, now sometimes this is ok and what we need to maintain our vehicles. Other times I suspect it is based on a play book and they need to bolster maintenance sales. Costs for service here have also spiraled, now I understand that trades / mechanics are hard to employ and some increase is necessary to retain skilled individuals. Here are some examples of price hikes, installation of tires on rims (2020 - $40, 2021 - $50, 2023 - $70, 2023 -$ 82), Service 1 -Oil / Filter (2020 - $78, 2022 - $84, 2022 - $125, 2023 - $130), Belt (2021 - $211, 2023 - $310). Other services, like spark plugs, air filter, pollen are really marked up, spark plugs are over $300 and it is a 15 minute job. Same for an air or pollen filter, 5 minute job. Like most dealerships they work to an operations manual which means they charge a prescriptive amount of time for a specific job, so in theory if the job is quick, they get paid the full time by you, this also works the other way, so if it takes them longer they are out of pocket. Example, I had one job with 3 hours labour charged, it took them 45 minutes, i still had to pay the 3 hours. As for the service individuals, most of them are nice people, a couple of them I would rather not deal with, luck of the draw on arrival. I have also come way from there where they have not topped up the fluids, this has happened a few times. One final addition, pretty sure they don't do the walkaround anymore, cars used be brought into the service center bay and they would inspect it with you and mark up the sheet. Now they just ask you for the mileage. Considering the hourly rate that they now charge (which has increased), I hope they pay the service reps and mechanics well. More
I brought my car in for service and while waiting I met with Ping and asked her for some information on a vehicle that I was thinking of getting in the spring. She was very helpful and mentioned to me that there was a good deal on the vehicle now. She showed me the vehicle and explained the new features that my car did not have. In short we made a deal and when my new car arrived she was very helpful. I was even able to negotiate a better deal than her original quote. I would recommend Ping if you are in the market for a new vehicle.. Chris. More
Service department is horrible. Wanted us to fix things that were not broken. Said they gave us a complimentary diagnostic for back up camera - the diagnostic performed was simply to replace camera as it’s usually the problem. No problem with camera, the wire was severed. No fault finding attempted, if we chose to replace camera (which wouldn’t have fixed the problem) then we would still have to pay for the new camera - and then they would have to fault find. On top of that, wanted to replace brakes, our brakes are fairly new in perfect condition. The abs module was recalled and needed to be changed - physical breaks are fine. We ended up fixing things ourselves and then taking to a different shop. Very rude and we were treated poorly for not changing out breaks. Shameful how they try to take advantage of people. More
If you are looking for a Palisade or any Hyundai -you would be doing yourself a great service by calling/visiting this dealership and asking for Mey - Meylani Susanti - the absolutely best - I called in would be doing yourself a great service by calling/visiting this dealership and asking for Mey - Meylani Susanti - the absolutely best - I called instead of going in for my first contact -was fortunate to get Mey - the dealership did not have what I wanted - and she continued to follow up with me without being an overbearing sales person - she realized I had done my research and never pushed other vehicles - she did explain the features that were comparable to what I was looking for - but not try to change my mind - she did set realistic expectations as to when the vehicle I was looking for would be available - but before it came in she had someone she knew who had previously purchased a Palisade - and with that client's permission I received a video from her showing the features of the vehicle - how exciting - made me wanting that vehicle all the more and did go in and put a down payment on the vehicle - has been less than 1 week since I picked up my vehicle and I am so appreciative of the after service follow up from Mey .
