Thank you Darlene for allowing us the opportunity to work with you and Earle. We are truly sorry our lot received hail damage on the night of the 15th but luckily your Soul was inside as it was readied for your delivery on the 17th. We worked diligently from 7am on the 16th with our insurance company after finding out about the hail. We did keep you and Earle in the know of the process of filing a claim and loaned you a vehicle so that you had transportation while we waited on the insurance settlement. As previous explained to you, the insurance provider wanted every vehicle under the policy at the time to be inspected by the appraiser and the vehicles to be held until a course of action was determined and settled upon. We truly are sorry that your patience ran out and understand the frustration you felt waiting for the bureaucracy of an insurance claim and settlement as we are feeling it too. Yes your vehicle was clean and outside awaiting as we held hope for you (and all of our clients) that we would be given the green light to deliver folks their cars and we were on the ready. Sadly we wait still. Thank you again for the opportunity to work with you and Earle and congrats on your Pilot purchase and we hope it provides you many years of enjoyment.

That was my point - our patience didn’t wear out. Had we been told this could take weeks or longer, there would have been no problem. I would still be waiting. We wouldn’t have criticized your staff. We were told “a day or two” every time until unbelief set in. And we didn’t buy a Pilot 😀 But the dealer we bought from had been through a hailstorm situation and said it takes MANY weeks to sort out the insurance. I said I wish we’d been told that. I would have been sympathetic with Straightline and still waiting for my car to be released. So, belatedly people, I sympathize but still stand by the fact that we were kept hanging day by day not understanding the rollercoaster developments. All the best. You won’t have any trouble selling that little jewel. 😀

There is no miscommunication on the day of pick up. I choose a day for picking up the car, however, that day is Danny’s off day. I am grateful that Danny spent his personal time to greet with the customer. I highly appreciated his working attitude.
