I bought my first Honda in 1998 from Honda West and my second Honda in 2013 and have had nothing but great service. Since moving to a condo, I now store my out of season tires through the dealership. However, for the 2nd year in a row, the caps on my winter tires went missing (last year, 1 cap, this year, 3 caps). Shawn in the Service Dept. escalated this issue to his manager. They sourced replacement caps and installed them. I appreciate them doing the right thing.

Pity the salesman told me to ignore the warning light on the dashboard I told him about as I was about to drive my newly acquired purchase away, it would have avoided me having to go back once (40km) for a diagnosis & the second time for the repair. "New 'used' Odyssey - Amazing Service"

I just bought my first vehicle from Honda West after driving Toyotas for the last 20 years. This Odyssey had one previous owner with all service work being done at Honda West. The vehicle was in excellent condition for a lightly used vehicle but even so the Service dept. went above and beyond to correct the few minor issues I'd noticed on my final pre-purchase inspection. A small tear in the rubber seal liner on the hatchback opening was fully replaced rather than just being glued/siliconed back together and some minor scratches in the body paint were buffed out. A torn zipper in one of the rear leather seats resulted in a complete new cover rather than a zipper repair. I'm so pleased with this extra level of service beyond my expectations and feel this is an indication of how well Honda West looks after its customers and the obvious pride it takes in selling quality used vehicles.

The Service Dept. at Honda West is really special. Colin, Kirsten, Desiree and a really great guy whose name I can't remember right now (he checks in the cars, fills washer fluid etc.) really are a great team. Any time I have had a problem, and I have had a couple of unexpected things happen lately, they have been so very helpful, kind and understanding. If there are options how to fix the problem, they will explain those clearly and give the price (if choice is an option). Each time the repair was done as quickly as possible- for which I'm VERY APPRECIATIVE and GRATEFUL.. The price was/is always fair. The car was ready for pick up when I was told it would be. Last but not least, for me it is so important and such a comfort to know I can come to the Service Dept. with whatever problem my car has, the problem wi ll be looked at and dealt with as quickly as possible. The price will be fair. The car will be ready when promised and life can go back to normal. That kind of service for me is precious . Obviously, I rely on my car a lot and don't like being without it. Colin's quiet, helpful manner is so reassuring when one is concerned. THANK YOU -you're a great team. Vera Crabbe

I was concerned about a tire needing air. Went in to have someone check air pressure. Young man named Austin went above and beyond to find the cause of the tire losing air and checked for me if this could be repaired. Service rep Heather assured me that they could get the repair done while I waited.

"Worst Experience With a Company"

Likely the worst experience with a business I have ever had. It has been over a year and a half of constant issues with their service department. I had just moved to Alberta and started having shock issues, so I decided to take my car into Honda West to fix this problem. This issue ended up taking months to fix, and I have had to take my car to their service department around 10 times to fix various issues that have been the fault of the service department: having the car for hours and not fixing anything, fixing the wrong part, fixing the wrong side, breaking a different part, etc. I have talked with their managers and been reassured that it would not happen again. Yet, with three separate issues, it has been the same story of service department mishaps and numerous visits. I have contacted Honda Canada and the issue has been escalated. Hopefully, no one else will have to go through this as well. My only word of advice for anyone else "GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP". I've had many great Honda Service departments help me over the years, but this is not one of them.
