Worst customer service I have ever experienced I popped into the VW dealership while in town just to look, I knew my budget and knew what I wanted. At first everything seemed like it was going grea I popped into the VW dealership while in town just to look, I knew my budget and knew what I wanted. At first everything seemed like it was going great, then after I walked out of the dealership while waiting for the financing to go through, everything went to crap! No one ever contacted me again, I had to contact them to find out what was going on and still didn’t contact me back, I had to call again. Come the day of delivery, I drove the two hours to Grande Prairie waited for almost 2 hrs to get into the finance office to sign, which is fine she was the only finance person in (and I must say she was awesome to deal with, Chrysler is lucky to have her). Once done in the finance office, we stood around for a few minutes waiting to see our sales person Caitlin to show us our shiny new car, right there in the show room she handed me the key to my new car pointed to it outside and disappeared. I switched my own plate on my car, was not shown a single thing on the car and felt as if I was not important and was just a sticker on the board. Never did I receive a follow up call on how i liked my car or if I was happy with it, nothing! Forward ahead 6 months, now I am receiving multiple emails and text messaging saying how GP VW wants me to trade it in to “lower my payment”. I would consider it as I am rebuilding my credit (high interest rate) so ya i would like to see my options, and I love my VW. I responded to one of the emails and first thing in the morning I got a email back from Thomas asking for more information on my trade in. I am at work so rather than call I return an email with all of the information he asked for. 2 days later still have not heard back from him. Here we go again. I call into the dealership to talk to someone and get answers as to what I could get for trade. I get Caitlin on the phone tell her I’m frustrated that no one ever gets back to me. She says “oh that’s weird I didn’t get any information, I’ll check your file” Low and behold there’s the email I sent to Thomas. I tell her I’d like to know what my trade is worth. She advises me to give her an hour and she will get back to me as managers are tied up at the moment. Sure no problem! NOW 2 days later and I still have not heard back from her yet again! Long story short I will NEVER purchase a single thing from Grande Prairie Volkswagen or recommend anyone to purchase from GP VW. Even for warranty work I will take my vehicle to Edmonton to Norden VW simply because of how terrible this place has treated me, and I even purchased extended warranty! Worst experience with a car dealership! More
