During that time we already knew exactly what we wanted so it was just an in and out sort of transaction with a salesman. Fast forward to February 2019 and we were ready to purchase another Ford vehicle so we decided to visit Erinwood Ford once again. We knew that the Ford Explorer XLT was the vehicle we were interested in but we weren’t sure which model, what options, engine choice, etc. We were then approached by the salesman, Martin Menzies who was very friendly and was eager to help us find a vehicle. After just a few minutes of talking to him, my wife and I sensed that he was an honest, trustworthy, and patient person so we felt very comfortable with him from the start. The first time he walked away to print off a sheet for us, my wife and I looked at each other and we both stated how much we really liked dealing with Martin. Honestly speaking, we were reluctant to purchase the vehicle at first but with Martin walking us through with every cost, detail, features, etc. we ended up going with the next model up which was the Explorer Sport! All and all, we are so happy to have met Martin Menzies and we feel that he’s not just our “Salesman” but a friend as well! Great service! We planned to test drive a used van. When we arrived, the van was already pulled out for us, running and warmed up (nice on a cold day) - nice touch! None of the three other used car dealerships did this for us. The van was super clean, Joe was knowledgeable, able to answer any of our questions, documented a few minor repairs we wanted and was very accommodating with delivery. He put us in contact with the garage responsible for the certification so we could purchase snow tires which we wanted installed. The paperwork was clear and straightforward, we understood exactly what was needed to purchase the vehicle. Upon pick up, everything was ready - Joe reviewed with us the minor repairs we requested, and we signed the paperwork. Shout out to Mike Diamond for overseeing the repair on the passenger door release handle! More

That said, called and spoke to Joseph, asked him to give me his best price on the vehicle. He called us back within 10 minutes, quoted the price, took a deposit on a credit card and my father in law went to pick up the truck the next day. Joseph facilitated the trip to the Ministry to register the vehicle, no hassle, no issues, no glitches. He even phoned the next day to see if the vehicle had arrived in Ottawa safely. I was so impressed that I asked him to look for an SUV for me in the coming months. If all goes well, my spouse will also call him up as he is looking for a vehicle as well.
