I was very upset on Saturday, my power steering went out while I was driving if the truck behind me wasn't at a red light before i turned onto main street I would've been in a bad accident. I was able to move to sidewalk and put hazard lights on. I called to see what my options were on this situation. I have a 6 year old and felt unsafe. I talked to Trevor, he said we can try and work something out. He showed me a few cars we found one that would be fine, problem was that I was offered a low number for my Saturn which I just purchased on feb 28. The car Trevor found was a 2006 and gm certified. I didn't get a gm certified vehicle so I found out my options in this situation were limited. They said my payments would be $89 b/w don't know for how long we think it was for 5 years, was asked to go in today, Monday, to go over it. I went home thinking about it. I paid 7,200 for my Saturn and I'd be paying $179 a month for let's say 5 yrs so that 2006 car will cost me roughly 18,000!! I don't think so.The part is in for one recall the other not yet. I really should have waited one more day and maybe got a car with very little payments I don't know, I do know I wish I did things very differently. It wasn't just Trevor that was helping me,Trevor didn't know about the Saturn, Tony found it. They were all good. I did a test drive with Saturn I noticed a noise on heater, they thought it was the cold, Tony mentioned that if it wasn't the cold it would be fixed at no cost to me. That wasn't the case. I had car sent in for the cleaning and to get smoke smell out which was powerful!! I don't smoke at all. When they were doing the cleaning they checked the noise. It was reported to me that it would cost me about $500 I said no I was told it wouldn't cost, so after a few phone calls I was told the dealership would pay half. Still very unfair I finally said ok. There was still a smoke smell, Trevor said he could get car in for an overnight clean maybe, bit it's slowly leaving so might not be needed. I'd tried a few things. I purchased my Pontiac from dealership brand new, unfortunately it was in an accident, and was a write-off, I needed a car, the one I was using was costing me a fortune in gas.
