Purchased a used 2014 370Z sport touring site unseen, from the Eastern side of the country while away on vacation. I purchased a 3rd party pre purchase vehicle inspection, with inspectacar in Calgary, the car came back flawless and the dealership was commended for their inspection coming back the same as inspectacar, and Maxine took the car for the appointment as well. Maxine has always stayed in contact answering my calls or texts with any concerns and mitigating them, and I would buy from this dealership again. I’ve purchased many vehicles in my lifetime and this was the smoothest transaction, paperwork sent via email for signature, and they even held the vehicle for me for a 45 days now on there lot, as I’m away out of the province for work, while I arrange pickup. 10/10 even though I don’t live in Calgary, I’d make the drive for another vehicle transaction. This service wasn't even worth 1 star, but that's the lowest that I can rate, so.. I initially called in and asked about upgrading the software in my radio so that I can gain Apple Carplay & Android A lowest that I can rate, so.. I initially called in and asked about upgrading the software in my radio so that I can gain Apple Carplay & Android Auto functionality. The girl on the phone said that can be done and even better, I wouldn't be charged anything as it's just a software upgrade, so I scheduled a service appointment. When I got there, the person who was checking in my car asked why is was there. I again explained that I wanted my radio upgraded so that I could have the Apple CarPlay functionality added. He booked it in and I sat in the waiting area for 1.5 hours. They called my name, so I went to the Service Desk and was presented with an invoice for more than $200. I was upset as I was told that it would be free, but I paid because I really wanted the upgraded functionality. I went to my car and tested both Bluetooth and USB. but the radio was exactly the same. No new functionality. In fact, it was still connected to my phone via Bluetooth, so obviously no upgrade to the software was done. The invoice stated that they did an update to a newer version on the same infotainment software and that's why they charged me over $200, but updates are available over the air, for no charge. I am obviously VERY angry at them charging me over $200 and gaining NO NEW FUNCTIONALITY and refusing to do anything about it. I just bought this car a few days ago and had intended on using this dealership to do all my maintenance to maintain my third party warranty, but that will obviously no longer happen. If I have my way, I will make sure as many people as possible are warn away from this dealership and I guess I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I was NOT given the service that I paid for. More
