We were not satisfied with what we felt was a failure to keep us informed about the initial logistics delay in getting a part for replacement under warranty, then a lack of communication in keeping us infor keep us informed about the initial logistics delay in getting a part for replacement under warranty, then a lack of communication in keeping us informed on the day of repair about the progress in making the repair. We were also charged (not just charged, but we believe an excessive amount) for the replacement of a failed battery in our remote on a new Chevy, yet our Ford remotes have not needed a battery change in over ten years of use. I have brought my vehicle to John Thornton multiple times and each time I leave I feel like my car is in good hands. The only complaint I could make is I could tell there was some schedule pressure this last and each time I leave I feel like my car is in good hands. The only complaint I could make is I could tell there was some schedule pressure this last time I visited, there was some oil spilled under the hood which smelled awful and smoked under the hood until it burnt off scared the attendant in the drive thru at Chick-fil-a. Every person who gives you information and checks you in at maintenance is a gem and they were so kind even while my toddler was throwing a I’m ready to go right more tantrum. Even after moving to another side of Marietta I still choose to bring my car back to John Thornton for service. More

Deplorable customer service. Kept our car for a week and did NOTHING! Cost us over $300 for a rental car with no repair done. Why even make an appointment with a customer if you Kept our car for a week and did NOTHING! Cost us over $300 for a rental car with no repair done. Why even make an appointment with a customer if you have no intention of honoring it at all? No one was helpful in the least on the phone and even lied to us repeatedly about the status of our vehicle. We never even got a loner vehicle. Not even an apology for the terrible and inconsiderate teatment of a long-time customer and it felt like no one at the dealership even cared. Extremely disappointed! More
