We count ourselves fortunate to have had Tim Dalton guide us through this process from the beginning. We very much appreciate Tim's professionalism and attention to detail as well as the sincere interest he displays on a personal level. We enjoy visiting "an old friend" (that's "old" as in "valued", not "old" as in "old", Tim). The purpose of our recent visit on March 23rd was to finalize a 3 year lease on a 2015 Camry. On a long, cold day of searching for cars I stopped at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn with the intent of signing papers that day. Marque was not only friendly, but he also was able to put me at ease in the buying process. He worked closely with Imad to ensure that I was able to get the exact model I wanted at the price I could afford. When I returned to pick up my new Rav4, there was an issue with turning in my old lease--Shawn was able to work with Marque to ensure that none of the issues fell onto me and instead took care of everything! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle! More

Wonderful I just have to say I had the best experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, Our salesman, Dhimitri Lako, was fantastic! He helped my husband pur I just have to say I had the best experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, Our salesman, Dhimitri Lako, was fantastic! He helped my husband purchase a Tacoma Pro and Dhimitri Lako and the General Manger, Dan Bortolussi, went above and beyond to get my husband the truck he REALLY wanted! They had told us it could be 3 months before Jim saw his truck but within 48 hours the truck was at the showroom in Auburn. We had such a great experience that I ended up purchasing a Rav4. I am so excited. They made it all come together for us, They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the process simple. I will always go to them when I need another car...which shouldn't be all too soon as I plan on keeping this Toyota for a very long time. Thank you for everything!! Great Job!! Laurie & Jim More

Terrible experience Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA is staffed by liars and people without ethical integrity. I negotiated the price of a new Toyota Tacoma on-line, a Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA is staffed by liars and people without ethical integrity. I negotiated the price of a new Toyota Tacoma on-line, and then went into the dealership to discuss the details. My salesman was John Bellofatto, who was generally nice and apologetic about everything that I am about to describe. So, I negotiated the terms of the lease aggressively, and came to an agreement with Stephane Jovin(Sales Manager). At this point, I was transferred to Shawn Merrick (Finance Manager), who brings up the paperwork and shows me a monthly payment based on purchasing the truck at full MSRP of $34.5k, instead of the negotiated price of $31k. When I proceeded to explain that this was not right, he called in his boss, the General Sales Manager, who tried to make it seem as if I was confused and didn’t understand basic math (I’m a mechanical engineer), and also couldn’t understand why I was upset about this. So, magically the numbers changed and they brought the monthly payment down to what had been agreed. So, I signed the lease agreement and the State of MA vehicle purchase contract and left the dealership to wait for a call when my truck was ready. They called back 5 days later, saying I had to come in and “re-sign the lease agreement”, which is a classic car dealer scam if you google that phrase. So, I go in, and after waiting for over an hour, Stephane Jovin(Sales Manager) comes over and tells me that the lease didn’t get approved by the financing company, so they need me to sign a new lease for $100 more per month. I asked him: “So, you filled out all the information for a lease agreement and a purchase contract and signed it without running my information through the leasing company?” and he says “Oh well, I guess that was a mistake on our part”. To which I replied “What I know is that the State of MA Vehicle Purchase Contract that you signed is a legally binding contract and any attempt on your part to not honor it constitutes a breach of contract, so you have two options: 1. Give me the deal I negotiated, without any changes, or 2. I contact my lawyer and sue the dealership for breach of contract”. So, he walks away, and talks with his boss, the General Sales Manager), and then comes back over and says “We called up the dealership General Manager (Dan Bortolussi), and he agreed to take a loss (what a joke) on the truck and honor the original contract…as if they are doing me a favor. So, not only are the folks at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA dishonest, they also engage in illegal activity to try and trick people into new contracts. I’m lucky I did my research and realized the scam they were trying to pull. Do not give them your business; they are highly unethical and a bunch of xxxx bags. More
