Friendly, efficient, problem solving We are new permanent residents of Canada and wanted to buy a car similar to the one we have in the USA. An on-line search showed that Charlesglen had a good selection of used Toyotas. When we went in Tyler Medland helped us. He listened to what we wanted (2014 Rav 4) and offered two possibilities. He did not try to up-sell us...a big, big plus. We chose one of the two and he had us test drive it. It was just what we wanted, He was very friendly (as were all the staff) and did not waste our time! Because we had never owned a car in Canada and only had out-of-country drivers' licenses, we had a couple of extra hoops to jump through. Phil Dao told us just what we had to do and helped us find a company that could give us insurance quickly; again, friendly, efficient and he solved a problem. When we picked up the car Jim McAlorum (?) explained what we needed to know about the car and we were out the door. A very positive car buying experience. More

I’m 70 years old and have bought way too many cars in my life and I hated the experience every single time . Cars are too expensive and do nothing but cost you a fortune to simply get you from here to there. Boyd Ellis and the team at Charlesglen changed my very ingrained attitude by running a very clean helpfull buying experience that blew me away. Yes I spent more money than I ever had on a car, but, it was such a painless experience I am still in awe . While I was doing my research, I was speaking with a local repair shop and they commented that they’ve had many customers speak positivity on Charlesglen Toyota. Knowing that I was already going to purchase a Toyota my wife and I headed on over to see them. We were dealing with Kate online for a demo truck and it was just what I was looking for. Kate was great to deal with and we we’re able to come to a win-win agreement in short order. I wanted to have a few items added to the truck and those were installed with meticulous detail. Personally, I’m looking for a dealership who understands the value in a long-term business relationship and Charlesglen was that dealer. I couldn’t be happier with my purchasing experience and highly recommend Kate and the others without hesitation. Top marks in my books. More

Great Experience My mind was made and I was going with a competitive product before I went into Charlesglen to look at the Toyota Tundra and confirm my previous decisi My mind was made and I was going with a competitive product before I went into Charlesglen to look at the Toyota Tundra and confirm my previous decision to move forward with a different manufacturer. Needless to say, Paul G at Charlesglen changed my mind and I'm happily driving a new Tundra today. They have an interesting sales model. I wouldn't say it's "high pressure" but rather just the right amount of pressure, which I'll coin as "slightly more than neutral". It demonstrated me a higher level of respect for a potential client; higher than almost any vehicle sales rep I've dealt with in the past. Most reps want to get you in, get you signed and get you out with a low probability of speaking with that client ever again. Time will tell if they stay connected, however I can confirm that they have followed up a couple of times and it's nice to feel valued at the moment. Additionally, the dealership is amazing. They have a high level of attention to detail which I'm sure most people don't care about when it comes to the appearance of things, but to me, it matters. I like that the floor was spotless in the showroom. I like that the showroom had some display models, but it wasn't jam packed with no room to look closely at their products. I like that some of the products were changed out from my first visit to my second visit. I like that they have a cafeteria where you can get some food if you have to stay there longer than expected. I like that they had a separate showroom area to display your vehicle and walk through its operation upon delivery. I like that they've got an old Landcruiser on the showroom floor that pulled on my heartstrings as my family had one very similar in 1986 and I remember hauling around in it and going hunting with dad. It brought back some great memories. That aside, they've done a great job in the layout of the facility. It gives the appearance that it's much smaller than it really is. I recommend people take a tour of the operation and you'll likely be as shocked as I was. Hopefully you find this review helpful and that my experiences ring true with yours.
