Warranty work and pursuing satisfaction I recently had warranty work conducted on my RAV 4. The work included a number of part replacements (which speaks to the benefit of purchasing the ex I recently had warranty work conducted on my RAV 4. The work included a number of part replacements (which speaks to the benefit of purchasing the extend warranty plan). Part of the work included a right front shock replacement and a rear left shock replacement and recall work that involved rear wheel alignment. Unfortunately after the work was done the vehicle developed a very scary vehicle sway (side to side) when approaching and exiting ramps to highways and expressways. I felt this extremely poor handling was caused by the recent warranty work having new shock at opposing ends of the vehicle and older (5yr) shocks on the other opposing ends. I was unable to make the service advisor understand how dangerous it was to drive the vehicle and that the vehicle NEVER handled like this before the warranty work. I did however speak the service manager Gord De Castro who responded quickly by having the vehicle in and approving replacement of the older shock absorbers under the warranty plan. He also approved a front wheel alignment at no charge that the service advisor was intend on charging me for. I want to thank Mr De Castro for his quick actions and restoring my faith in Scarborough Toyota in that I will continue to bring my vehicle here for service and will consider Scarborough Toyota for my next vehicle purchase. More

Happy Happy and Happy Ever since I have been taking my vehicles at this location, I made it my duty to pay a visit to Mr. Gord as he is very welcoming. With regards to Jack, he is very helpful. Also Jason who on my first contact today is great. The shuttle service is a great one as well. The location is great and business hours is very convenient. In future, would like to see this business open on Sundays. More

First Visit to Service Dept. At Scarborough Toyota Today was my first visit to the Service Depatrment at Scarborough Toyota. Upon pulling into the centre I was immediately greeted by a service associat Today was my first visit to the Service Depatrment at Scarborough Toyota. Upon pulling into the centre I was immediately greeted by a service associate who not only directed me on where to park my vehicle, but he introduced himself, although I cannot remember his name, and he promptly located Gord. I had a scheduled appointment with the Service Manager Gord De Castro. Although I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, Gord greeted me within 5 minutes of my arrival. My vehicle is only 2 months old, so I had lots of questions re accessories. Gord was VERY patient, courteous, knowledgeable,and professional as he responded to all my questions. Gord provided an estimated time for my service completion, and as promised, my vehicle was ready on time; as a busy Mom I was very grateful for that. The free wifi and coffee turned my wait time into some "me time". Had I not met Gord at the new owners' seminar, I probably would not have returned to the dealership for service needs. Prior to the seminar, I perceived that service at dealerships was always overpriced. The seminar encouraged me to try the dealership and Gord and his team's service today confirmed I made the correct decision. I will be returning to the Service Department soon for some functional accessories and "bling" too. Thank you Gord Sonia More

I was extremely satisfied with his service and can easily see why he is the service manager.Those managerial skills definitely show through.He was kind, to the point and i felt valued as a customer. He was even able to fix my long over due problem with that wind shield spray power. Hopefully, my salt covered car didn't ruin his white shirt dress shirt as he fixed my car himself! I did not go in with the idea of fixing my spray power, just the blade. But he was more than willing to help when i asked about it generally. It is great to know there is still genuine service available out there at dealerships and even managers are able to get on the floor and do the work themselves. Thanks again Gord for the great service. More

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation of one of your sales staff, Pauline Kamen, and the dealership where she works, Scarborough Toyota. I've been a repair customer there for several years, and act your sales staff, Pauline Kamen, and the dealership where she works, Scarborough Toyota. I've been a repair customer there for several years, and actually bought my previous Corolla there in 2002. A few weeks ago, bought a 2010 Yaris through Ms. Kamen, and she was professional, kind and a delight to deal with. I should point out that I did not know her prior to this, and was put in touch with her presumably at random by the receptionist. I would far prefer a root canal to shopping for a car (and yes, I've had eight root canals, so I know whereof I speak!). Ms Kamen really listened to learn what I wanted. She was also patient and helpful in laying out the options, and as I test-drove several cars and weighed the pros and cons. She put thought and effort into helping me find the right car, and after the sale, she called several times to make sure I was happy with my Yaris. There was never any pressure, and Ms Kamen spent a lot of time running around outdoors on a brutally cold day to bring cars to the door for me to try! And now about the dealership: I have never experienced anything but courtesy, professionalism and kindness, from Mr. DeCastro through the service advisors and the shuttle drivers. I am severely mobility-impaired, and the staff go out of their way to save me steps, without ever making me feel pitied. The shuttle drivers are infinitely patient during my struggles to get into and out of the bus. More

After an exhausting day of visiting several dealerships in Toronto I stumbled upon Scarborough Toyota on my way home. Upon arriving I was greeted by reception and then introduced to Manny. He greeted me an in Toronto I stumbled upon Scarborough Toyota on my way home. Upon arriving I was greeted by reception and then introduced to Manny. He greeted me and proceeded to ask me questions about my needs. I broke down everything I wanted and introduced me to the Corolla. I went for a test drive and I loved it. I sat down with him to go over the numbers and picked up the car 2 days later. I have NEVER experienced such amazing customer service in my life. Manny is professional, knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely caring. He followed up with me throughout the whole process and I could not be happier. I have no problem referring anybody I know to Manny because I know he will take good care of them. More
