Felt very respected and not pressured There were a number of things my wife and I appreciated about this dealership. 1. Everyone we dealt with (Darren, Brad, and Brenda-Lee) talked to us There were a number of things my wife and I appreciated about this dealership. 1. Everyone we dealt with (Darren, Brad, and Brenda-Lee) talked to us both and not just to me. Some other dealerships that we went to talked mostly to me as if I was the only one buying the vehicle–even though we specifically said that all decisions were being made jointly. That was off-putting to both of us. No one at Straightline Kia was like that. Big thumbs up from the start! 2. Every vehicle we looked at during our months-long search was one which I found online. Every time we went to a dealership, I said I was there to look at a specific van. Despite making that clear when we walked in the door, every other salesperson sat us down and asked what kind of vehicle and options we were looking for, how we were going to take care of the financing, what our budget was, etc. Now I can appreciate them wanting to know those things if we walked in the door without anything specific in mind, but it's unnecessary and shows a lack of good listening and communication skills when we are abundantly clear that we are there to look at a specific vehicle. One salesman even asked if the minivan we wanted to see was in our price range! That was AFTER I told him we would be paying cash! Why would I want to waste the precious commodity of my time to look at a minivan I couldn't afford? I found that rather insulting. Darren at Straightline did no such thing. He gave us the respect we deserved , was un-assuming, and didn't question whether we were wasting his time. 3. Darren was extremely accommodating and said we could take the vehicle for as long as we wanted, and left it completely up to us whether or not he would ride along with us. Only one other salesperson at another dealership did that. Big points to any salesperson who is like that! 4. When we went into the finance office to complete the transaction, Brenda-Lee didn't try to push any extras on us. We told her we were paying cash and didn't want the extras. She was completely fine with that and didn't give us "food for thought" to walk away with like another place did. (Yes, at that other place, we made a deal on a vehicle, but backed out later because they were unable to meet the agreed upon timeline for us to pick up the vehicle. I'm glad that happened, though, because we wouldn't have found the vehicle we did and gotten to deal with people who aren't vultures.) 5. Darren was very prompt at responding to my questions. 6. When we let Darren know our budget, he didn't try to offer us anything above that. More

From the moment I first inquired about my desire to purchase a Soul, I was treated with the utmost respect and patience. I am a first time buyer and knew nothing about the process. Other dealerships contacted me in a harrasing, money hungry sort of way, but Darren was calm amd supportive throughout my lack of knowledge and I appreciated his approach immediately. I am in sales also, so I know how it goes. Candace was empathetic and also very respectful of my finacial situation and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. I have always been fearful of everything to do with cars, dealerships, mechanics because Im 45 years old and a fairly new driver. These two put me at ease and now I can't wait to go back for my services and maintenance. I highly recommend Straighline Kia now to everyone I speak to. A big thank you to your team! More

No hassle buying experience and they offered good value for my trade in. The Telluride we purchased is loaded with options (that other manufacturers charge extra for or make you buy the top level). The Kia warranty was a big selling point for me as well as I want to own the car for many years. The other SUV’s we test drove didn’t come close to the space, power, styling, safety/technology and value the Kia Telluride offers! More

Easy experience with no pressure I was put into a spot where I ended up seeking a reliable vehicle and have approached other dealerships before. I knew I wanted to buy an import and I I was put into a spot where I ended up seeking a reliable vehicle and have approached other dealerships before. I knew I wanted to buy an import and I was hoping to see what kind of used vehicles the Kia dealership had. I ended up having a discussion with the folks there, and they were super helpful in letting me know about some of the differences between buying a used vehicle or getting a new vehicle. The result was finding this vehicle. I cannot believe we were able to get such a great deal on it and that this was so simple. I never felt pressured into anything. I think it helped a lot that I was knowledgeable of my own budget and knew exactly what I was looking for. In any case, all the rumours I heard about Kia being a great company to deal with have so far been true! I am super happy with my purchase and experience and would recommend them. More

Darren greeted me even and was willing to stay late during my first visit to the dealership, because I wasn't able to make it in until after I put my kids to bed. Darren created a very non-pressure experience and was accommodating to my busy schedule. He went threw all the models that had the features I was looking for and helped me find the right trim. He also answered all my million questions and when it came to purchasing time was very up front about all costs and exactly what I was paying for. He was supper helpful and was a great experience working with him and Kia in general. More

The entire experience from start to finish was laid back and professional. I didn't feel pressured at all. All of the info is placed in front of you and explained with lots of opportunity for questions. They didn't have exactly what I wanted, nobody did, but they got it in a timely manner and kept me updated on its arrival. Come time for pick up, everything was ready to go and straight forward. Darren and Cody were great. Would definately recommend Straightline Kia! It was worth the 2 hour drive, with closer Kia dealerships available to us. More
