After waiting for almost a year with several calls to Airport Ford in Hamilton and contact to Ford Canada. I am still waiting to hear from them to replace my recall airbag. I stopped at Northway Ford in Brantford 8 days ago and as of today my airbag has been installed. You make the call on who offers better customer service

I unfortunately cannot recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.
While the support staff were friendly they would not prioritize a major safety concern ahead of other appointments. I have a 2018 F-150 that has a current recall notice for faulty door latches. My driver's side door decided to randomly open during movement and the best i was told was that i had to wait for almost three weeks because it was a big job and took a technician a full day or more. I was told i could leave the vehicle there for a period of time (possible three weeks) and they would see if they could get to it.
Pretty shocking to learn that your vehicle doors can open randomly and there is absolutely no sense of urgency to address the issue.
Called Ridgehill Ford in Cambridge for a much better response and service date.
Brake Light bulb cost $149.36 - extreme frustration
I wanted to get my brake light bulb replaced. I made an appointment. It took almost 2 hours. When it came time to pay they told me they had to run a diagnostic test on it before they could change the $15.00 brake light bulb. There was no discussion of this before they took my car. It is a scam to get another $125.00 out of you. Beware of this scam.

Brought my 2010 ford truck in to rectify a noise coming from the rear differential. I asked the service department to change the fluid to hopefully resolve the problem. After leaving the truck there I went home. Later the service department called me to inform me that after looking over the differential with a stethoscope and checking the bearings that it was not the problem at all but the tires causing the noise. I was then picked up by their shuttle service to collect my truck. Being quite prepared to pay for their work, I was pleasantly surprised they were not charging me anything! Please note that the truck was not purchased from this dealership. I must also mention that the service person ( Jerry Meneray ) was very accommodating. This experience has convinced me to make my next purchase from Lambton Ford.

My 2016 Hyundai Elantra was in a minor accident (front bumper and fog lights), my dealership recommended the Collision Centre. The Insurance appraiser looked at my car on a Thursday afternoon, the parts were ordered, came in on Monday and I had my car back Wednesday!They even detailed the inside of my car! Mauro was friendly, courteous, great customer service! I would definately recommend them!

Towards the end of June 2018, my 2015 Ford Transit 12 passenger van was serviced at Fines Ford of Bolton, Ontario. I was going on a 5000km family road trip in early July to the east coast-wanted the van to be 100%. Fines Ford did an oil and filter change, replaced 2 faulty TPMS sensors and had Ford recall work done for driveshaft coupler.
First day of the trip (and first drive after bringing van home from Fines Ford Service) a check engine light came on driving on Highway 401 near Brockville, Ontario. Stopped at Riverside Ford of Brockville to have it checked. Code P144C was found-cause was a disconnected EVAP line beside the driveshaft. Their master technician noticed the driveshaft coupler work and told me this is the source of the issue-line accidentally was not hooked back up after recall procedure. He reconnected EVAP line, cleared code and all was well. I have both Ford extended warranty and Ford prepaid service/maintenance but I was told this issue is not covered under either plan as it is not a warranty item or a service issue-it’s an issue dealing with recall work done by Fines Ford of Bolton. Riverside Ford said to get reimbursed the $126.79 they charged me for their diagnosis/work-they told me they would vouch for me as to the cause of the disconnected line-have Fines Ford call them as to what they encountered.
Few days later, TPMS indicator comes on. Could not find another Ford dealership open on the weekend. Pressures checked elsewhere (were actually overinflated). Monitored my own tire pressures daily for the rest of the trip-TPMS indicator on continuously. There was no leak, it was a TPMS issue.
Oil change reminder also came on. Not reset during my oil change service-not a big deal to me as it can be reset without a scan tool.
After my trip, back to Fines Ford on July 16, 2018. Ronnie (Service Advisor dealing with me) cleared TPMS indicator and says there was no code stored – has does not know why it indicated that there was a problem. Ronnie then claimed they did not touch the EVAP line, it has nothing to do with the P144C code, it is nowhere near where they were working on vehicle, etc-basically, denial. However, he did say they would do an investigation as to what had happened. I asked for him to call Riverside Ford of Brockville-they found the disconnected line. He told me to leave it with him, he will get back to me.Over the next 3 months+, I went into Fines Ford service department over a dozen times to get to the bottom of this (I gave up phone calling because was told too many times either Ronnie or Manager will get back to me-but did not happen). Each time I dropped in to inquire-either Ronnie is not in-if he is in, I get “they are still looking into it”, “I will call you back today or tomorrow” (does not happen), “Oh? The manager has not called you back?-I will make sure he gets back to you in a couple of days”-again does not. On and on this went for over 3 months!!
Fed up, I went a final time to see Ronnie on October 29, 2018.Layed it all out how disappointed I was about the whole thing dragged out this long without a final resolution. Brought in my Google search results showing that I wasn’t alone experiencing a code P144C (cause-disconnected EVAP line) after having driveshaft recall work-he showed no concern over my printout and brushed it off. I told him I will write Ford of Canada and post a negative online review of my experience with Fines Ford of Bolton’s service. He did not dispute that things went badly. He told me to hold off with my letter/review until I speak with the manager. I agreed to this.
Finally, on November 1, I received a call from Carlos (manager). I explained to him the issues that I am sure he knew about. He reiterated that they deny anything to do with any EVAP line, and will not be held responsible for it. I asked why should it take over 3 months to come to this conclusion? I asked why they didn’t even bother to call Riverside Ford? (I did call, they had no contact with Fines Ford)-Carlos told me it would have served no purpose. Yes, that’s true, if your mind is made up to deny responsibility right from the start. Why tell me about investigations, excuse after excuse, blah, blah, blah - to drag it out in hopes that I go away? No more words need to be spoken-these actions show the true character of the service department.
On finalizing my conversation with Carlos, he did offer me a complimentary goodwill (if you can call it that) oil change on my next service visit. I thanked him for the offer but kindly explained to him that I will no longer have my van serviced at Fines Ford of Bolton (by the way, if he would have bothered to read my file or spoken with Ronnie-he would have realized that my oil changes are covered by my prepaid maintenance plan ANYWAY).
I am done with this service department.

I had to bring in my 2013 focus for a recall... upon arrival I was not greeted at all... not asked about why I was there when I pulled into the service shop... I walked by 30 employees asking aloud if anybody could help me and not 1 person responded... not even a "we will be with you in a few minutes". I brought my car in for a recall meaning you sold me a faulty car and now cant even say hi or Express any sort of basic customer service skills when it's your fault I'm there in the first place! Then i was given a pin to access my keys upon pick up and that was faulty as well! No more ford vehicles for me or my family

I don't recommend this Dealership; Especially for Service, I made an appointment a week in advance for new Snow Tires. I arrived at the appointment on time and they confirmed my cell number and offered me their shuttle service. I arrived back at the dealership 3 hours later (twice as long as the job should have taken) and my truck hadn't even been looked at. The lady in the Tire Dept. informed me that customers waiting onsite get priority because they remained at that location... Therefore, because I left, and went home for 3 hours, my appointment (and apparently everything else I had planned for the day) took a back seat to those who came in off the street and were onsite waiting for their vehicles. What's the sense of making an appointment if the established time means literally nothing ? Are confirmed long time customers less important than random customers who come in off the street ? I guess the fact that I bought a Brand New F-150 Platinum and my repeat business is equally unimportant. I even talked with the Service manger (who was better than the others), but all he offered was an apology with no explanation. Congrats Holiday Ford! I will be visiting Bence Ford (In Kaladar) or Polito Ford (In Lindsay) for all my future service and sales. You can thank your Tire Dept.

Quick to sell us a tire warranty BUT really slow to settle up a simple claim. It’s July 5 and I have been after them since Nov. 20, 2018 to settle this. No response to calls or emails is their go-to strategy. Too bad, our sales guy was fabulous.

I had an issue come up with my truck whereupon it was shaking a lot at certain speeds and I considered it to be non driveable. I dropped it off on a Thursday around 5:30 AM using the After Hours Key Drop Box. (Good thing I had my own envelope). I called them when they opened at 8 am and Jessie told me they were quite busy and could not look at it that day, but should get to it on Friday. Saturday late morning rolls around and I had not heard a word from them. I called and Jessie informed me they had about a 2 week backlog and were "trying to squeeze it in". I should have been given this information when I first dropped it off because, if I had been, I would not have left it there under those conditions. I called Midas and they said I could drop it off and they would look at it immediately, which I have done. I can't speak for Sales but their Service absolutely sucks.
