Satisfied completely - Taurusbuyer
I called Bruce and asked for the sales manager. Without hesitation I was given Tom Ruggles. who actually spoke with me and understood my request. I had a long story to tell and he listened. I am surprised because with my dealings in the past with various dealerships, a sales manager is hard to get to speak to. Usually we have to speak with a salesman. He assured me, and I was confident he would help me...he did. I live far from Bruce. To my complete satisfaction all was done and my next experience was with a finance officer, Scott Nickerson. A pleasant, positive and knowledgeable young man. He knew his product and all was done over the phone...really over the phone!! I drove down (6 hour drive), all was ready to sign and all was to my complete satisfaction. When all was said and done, I was introduced to Andy who was very professional and introduced me to my new Kona. I don't think I was ever greeted by a sales manager in all my car buying days. Thank you all and I will surely be back should I buy another vehicle. I will definitely recommend Bruce dealerships to all the people I know.
Lindsay and Charmaine went above and beyond in every... - docksidebilly
Lindsay and Charmaine went above and beyond in every aspect of our purchasing experience. From the welcoming smile when I first walked into the dealership I have nothing but praise for everyone we dealt with. Once we decided on the 2020 Palisade Ultimate and our preferred colour of Taiga Brown , Charmaine worked tirelessly to locate and get the exact car we wanted. Ryan made the financing procedure a breeze and very throughly explained the warranties and maintenance packages and all aspects of the purchase. Lindsay gave us a very thorough walk through in and around the car taking care to show us all the features . She paired our phones to the car, had us download the Hyundai app and showed us how to use it to remotely access the car using the app. Lindsay also walked us through booking our service appointments online and even made our first service appointment for us. Lindsay also introduced us to the service department and had them advise us on winter tires which we also purchased and had installed prior to taking delivery. In over forty years of driving new vehicles, our experience with the dealership and staff has been by far the best we have experienced . We would highly recommend this dealership And the Hyundai Palisade to anyone looking for a great purchasing experience .
Gateway Hyundai Service - Brian Mc
Just had my vehicle serviced at Gateway and I wanted to say how prompt and professional the people are there. They know how to take care of their customers and their vehicles.
xxxxty Service - Disgruntled
The fuel pump on my Santa Fe died on me last Wednesday. Fortunately I had roadside assistance and my vehicle was towed to Steele Hyundai. Unfortunately for me my vehicle was towed to Steele Hyundai. It took them a full day to determine that what they had been told was the issue when it was towed in was indeed the issue. The Tow Truck driver was an experienced mechanic and knew exactly what the issue was. It took him 5 minutes to figure it out just by putting his ear up to the gas tank hole and having me try to start it. At 3:50 p.m. the next day they called me to say "it looks like your driver was right, it's the fuel pump". Not surprisingly, they didn't have any fuel pumps in stock. I asked when they thought the replacement fuel pump would be in. They weren't sure, but maybe on Monday (it's still just Thursday when we're talking). I couldn't believe that and asked if they had any rentals or loaners. They very rudely told me that "no, they don't do that." They told me that they would call me when they had an update on the fuel pump. I waited all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday, still no word on the pump. I called them Monday morning to see if they could provide me with an update. The phone rang at least 20 times before someone picked up and asked if they could help me. They transfered me through to the service department where it rang at least 20 more times. The pump hadn't arrived yet, but it still might at some point. I called back a couple of hours later. Still no fuel pump. I called again at 1:00 and was told that the part was in and that my vehicle was in the "queue". I called back a couple of hours later and again experienced their "don't answer the phones" policy. At 3:15 p.m. I called back to see if they thought it would be finished today, or if i should just expect to get my vehicle the next day. I let the phone ring for 12 minutes straight and no one picked it up. As I was on the line waiting for someone to pick up, they left me a cryptic message on my other line saying that my car was ready to be picked up. I've NEVER dealt with a bunch of people as unprofessional as this group of people. If my car ever breaks down again, I'll pay several hundred dollars to have it towed to the Valley, which is where I purchased it. Compared to the service that I get in the Valley when I take my vehicle in for servicing, this dealership sucks butt!! I highly recommend NOT buying from or even visiting this dealerhip!!!
Brake pads separated from plate because of excessive heat. - Dave
Service manager said pad separation is not under warranty and is not a defect.Well I am a mechanic and I say it is.I guess they don,t won’t to sell me or any of my family a car from any of Oregans dealerships which works out to about $100000 loss.Maybe $100 worth of defective pads should be under warranty.
Sold me a lemon - Rob gordon
Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. They sold me a used car, lied to my face telling me the tires were fine. (They were scalloped) the car stopped starting within 2 weeks. I was given the runaround multiple times, left on hold for close to an hour multiple times. I fought and fought with them to get new tires, eventually got "better" tires and the owner said "I'm going to keep the scalloped ones because some people don't mind them" I was told there was nothing wrong with the car and while they did get it running again, a month later I had the same issues. I tried contacting them about it and again was givin the runaround and left on hold for another hour. I've givin up now, they will not do anything about the lemon they've sold me so I will take it to target Mazda and pay for whatever issues there is. I'll never step foot in this place again and will be purchasing any future vehicles from target Mazda where they actually care. Also, the "free trip" promotion they offer is false advertising, 100 percent a scam. 600 dollars in fees to go to a shady hotel in vegas that is off the strip, a week stay down south without flights included and about 2000 in mandatory all-inclusive fees or a shady cruise with flights not included and and 600 in fees.
