I’m extremely dissatisfied with the service after purchasing an extended warranty for my vehicle, I recently had 2021 Kona in for service and I was given a rental vehicle for five days under the terms of my extended warranty. However, they were unable to fix my vehicle within the five day period because of staffing issues causing me to have to pay out of pocket for three additional days of a rental. When I sent a letter to the service manager Jim Schimpf, to discuss this as I felt like it shouldn’t fall upon me to pay for my own rental due to staffing issues on their part, I received zero response. I went in person to try and speak to him directly, and he refused to see me. I no longer have confidence in the service levels at this dealership and the product as a whole and seriously doubt I would own another Hyundai product.
