On July 13 and 15, I took one of our Sportages in for a fairly minor problem. Sab Sagathevan took care of both the visits very efficiently and made sure I was well informed as to the fix involved. As per usual, his estimate of how long the appointments would be was spot on, and he kept me informed of any status changes. Sure can't ask for more - See Sab, he will take good care of you.

It was a great experience how I was treated royally too bad I can’t do it every week. Marcelo was wonderful and so was the finance manager Christine. I felt like they treated me as a person not just somebody who is buying a car. I have been well taken care of and any question I had was answered with concern. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

First of all felt pressured into buying the car and they gave me a terrible trade in value for my 2009 nissan versa. Now the vehicle I got used from the dealership has an issue. I've tried for 3 days now to speak with the sales manager, as I was only given one set of keys and the issue with my car can be fixed with 2 sets... of course!! I tried the salesmen Adam who sold me the car but surprisingly enough he doesnt return a phone call either. Horrible customer service and a horrible place to look for a vehicle.

What you bought a car from here already oh okay give me a minute I will be right with you?
An hour and a half later and not one person responds or cares even after asking another person because the person you were dealing with is ignoring you xxxx they even ignore your phone calls as you sit waiting so phone from a friends phone he answers and is shocked it's you so you ask for them or who is supposed be helping now because the buck switched hands and another half hour goes by and still nobody they just leave you sitting looking like a fool waiting!

We were looking for Winter Tires as we drive to Calgary through the winter and are moving back shortly. I called KIA in Courtenay and they gave me a price on a certain brand of tire for our KIA Sorento. The fellow I spoke to told me they would not be beaten on price. Doing my due diligence, I called several other places, Costco, Kal Tire and OK tire and got the best price I could for the same product, again all-in. I went back to KIA and they slightly beat the price of the lowest offered price of all other contenders including fitting, balancing, tire tax, absolutely everything. So we are very pleased. We asked for an all-in price so there were no surprises and they came through. We have always had good service from KIA. I believe it was Wayne I spoke to. He was very accommodating.

Sent 5 emails inquiring about buying a new vehicle, no response. 6th email finally got a response asking what I wanted to know even though it was in the email I sent. Answered and 2 days later still no answers.
Then phoned and tried to book a service appointment. Apparently the service advisor only comes in a couple of hours a day and nobody knows when. Nobody else can book appointments! Either closing, don't care about customers or a bunch of idiots working there. Don't even know if or when your service advisor is coming to work. Take your vehicle to any other mechanic!

The JP Scion’s Service Department is awesome!! I took my Subaru BRZ (mechanically identical to the Scion FR-S) in for an oil change today. The service techs notice rodent droppings in the engine bay (I park outside, no choice), and clean the entire engine bay for me free of charge. I was very happily surprise when I got home, popped the hood, and noticed how sparking clean the engine bay is. I did not expect them to do that. That is service way above and beyond my expectations. The prices are also very reasonable, much, much less than what Don Docksteader Subaru charged me for the same oil change. I also appreciate the free ride Downtown. Thanks JP Scion, you’ve earned yourself a repeat customer.

I'm rating the service department, not the sales department, which was great. The service department charges WAY more than other dealerships - like **DOUBLE.** I first found this out with my previous Kia, when they charged me over $110 for three windshield wipers installed. I couldn't believe it! Now I've inquired about oil changes and GPS updates, both of which are half the cost at two other dealerships I've contacted. I told them the difference and they were very uninterested in hearing about it. They told me "all dealers set their own prices," and basically it is what it is, and if you don't like it, go elsewhere. So I will - even if it's a drive for me, I won't use this service department ever again.
