Professional service with great communication I purchased a used 2015 Camry XSE V6 in February 2018. Tim Smuck was the salesman and he provided very professional service. Tim made every effort to deal with any concerns I may have had and took time to show me how to operate some of the technological features the car had to offer. The car was ready when Tim said it would be and all the paper work was in order upon pickup. Buying this vehicle from Tim was a pleasant experience. Since my purchase I had an issue with a popping noise coming from the sunroof. I took the car to the service department where I was dealing with Mike Minarsky. Mike was very professional and kept great communication with me while he looked for a solution to this problem. When Mike finally had an answer I was very happy. Mike told me that the used car department was going to pick up the tab for the repair. This was a big job and potentially very costly to me so I was extremely happy with Mike and the used car department. We then set up an appointment and the job was done in a timely manner. It was a little over 3 months after purchasing my Camry that I had an issue that I thought may be a bad battery. I set up an appointment for the next day and dropped my car off the night before using the key drop and overnight parking ToyotaTown offers. The next morning at 9:15 a.m. I received a phone call from Firis Sharif. Firis told me he had already diagnosed the battery as having a bad cell and he recommended changing out the battery and then he would perform tests on the alternator and starter motor to be sure everything was working properly. Firis later contacted me to tell me the car was ready for pick up. All of my communication with Firis was done over the phone and he was very professional. Firis kept great communication throughout the whole process. I picked my car up after work and it was good to go. In summary, it was unfortunate that I had a couple of issues with my used Camry so early on after purchasing it but ToyotaTown dealt with the issues professionally, in a timely manner and with no hassles. The experience I have had to this point tells me that ToyotaTown takes customer service very seriously and to me that is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has had a fairly poor reputation when it comes to customer relations. He is very knowledgeable about the different Toyota models and he spent time letting us know what needs would suit which model. He also explained all the different post-purchase customer service plans and how in the long-term it would benefit our car which encouraged us to get the Platinum plan. Once the decision was made, he took time to explain the different functionalities inside the car and gave us sound advise of how to take care of it. We will surely be asking for his assistance next time we decide to get a 2nd car from ToyotaTown. In terms of financing, Andre explained very well the different options we had and he was very effective and efficient in answering all our queries. More
