Just had a service done last week and Courtney (sp?) was very professional, keeping me updated with progress throughout the time they had my truck, addressing a minor concern that I had and actually finding something (I know right? Every other dealer service I have dealt with either couldn't find the problem or would seem to guess resulting in multiple visits and no results). Quick and Informative I had taken my new Traverse in for her first oil change. Many staff greeted me and took the time to hear my concerns. In fact, Kyle sat in my vehicle I had taken my new Traverse in for her first oil change. Many staff greeted me and took the time to hear my concerns. In fact, Kyle sat in my vehicle and demonstrated all of the features my had that I did not know how to access. He was a very patient and well informed staff member. I felt understood and my vehicle was well looked after. Even my tire PSI was addressed and equalized. I have heard too many horror stories about women getting manipulated by fast talking dealerships. This is one I would tell all of my friends to go to for help or information. More

Comfortably Satisfying Experience from Start to Finish I had been in and out of the dealership on several occasions looking over inventory, asking a few questions and dodging sales staff whenever possible. I basically knew what I wanted however, I just wasn't ready for repeated rounds of canned sales spiels, hearing about dealership promotions, sales gimmicks & incentives and of course the inevitable up sell with regards to extended warranties, protection packages and available financing, etc. Looking back I can honestly say meeting Jim McEwen solidified my decision to deal with Sherwood Park Chevrolet. From our initial meeting and many more that followed Jim was kind, considerate and patient. Even before there was the slightest indication I might deal with Sherwood Chevrolet Jim always treated me with respect and took time out to answer questions and ease my concerns whenever I showed up. The process was painfully slow and I'm sure at times when Jim saw me or noticed my number on the phone he wanted to run - but he didn't and in the end a deal was completed. From Parts to Finance, Management to Sales, my decision to walk into this dealership allowed me the opportunity to meet quality individuals and work directly with a Class Act in Jim McEwen. More

Goodwill goes a long way Previously I had posted a review about a bad experience I had at Sherwood Park Chev when we required a complete transmission replacement on our vehicl Previously I had posted a review about a bad experience I had at Sherwood Park Chev when we required a complete transmission replacement on our vehicle shortly after warranty passed. My frustrations were with Sherwood Park Chev for what I felt was incompetent work provided by their service center and with GM Canada for the suspect quality of their product. This was a very frustrating process but I would like to commend the service department at Sherwood Chev for stepping up and being willing to work with me to come to a resolution that satisfied both parties. I am still not impressed with the GM vehicle we own but I am impressed how Wayne Focht was willing to go the extra distance to help smooth things out with a goodwill gesture by the dealership that helped cover some of the out of pocket expenses incurred. I wouldn't necessarily recommend GM products but I would recommend dealing with Sherwood Park Chev for the customer care they provided. More
