Scandalous dealership After one year of owning my 2015 Sierra I have discovered that there is a lien put on my truck. I had paid cash for this vehicle one year ago and had bought it outright. I called the Finance manager and he said there must be a mistake as they do not put liens on new vehicles. The general manager ended up calling me and explaining to me that because I didnt send in my registration and that they had called me fifteen times - they were entitled to put a lien on my vehicle and that they were not obligated to inform the customer. I was and still am in utter shock. And I am currently in negotiations with one of their sales representative for an upgrade. I explained to Mike Redmond that I am out of town and leaving on a family vacation to Europe and require this lien to be removed as soon as possible - and his reply was not until I pay him 1500.00 $? I have never been so let down by a dealer before in my life. This is surreal. I will not stop sharing this story and will be contacting all the powers to be until this is resolved. This is unfair, unjust, and possibly illegal. It is amoral and unethical to put a lien on a customer's vehicle that was paid for outright - and not to be informed at anytime of this action. It has been one year ! It is important to note that I bought this vehicle with cash April 15,2015, and the lien was put on my truck 5 months later -August 13, 2015, without alerting myself at any time. It was only ever mentioned to me by the finance manager that he would need a copy of my registration if they were audited. Scandalous. Please take your vehicle shopping elsewhere and prevent a possible lien . More

The whole process was Fantastic! Their Sales Consultant, Wayne Robertson was absolutely outstanding to deal with. I had given him all the requirements that we were looking for and away he went. Scouring the internet, making calls and tracking down my wife's perfect vehicle. Wayne made himself available night and day (by email, call or text), and updated us on his progress when he could. This is how car buying should be! He did not hound us or try to get us into something we didn't want. He made sure that we didn't sit around waiting for him, he was always ready for us when we arrived, and he genuinely took interest in making us happy. In my opinion Wayne has set the bar in his profession and as long as Wayne is in the car industry he will be my go to guy. Very disappointed with sales As a previous customer, I thought I would return to Sherwood GMC. I saw a truck I wanted (Sierra SLT) but was not happy with the trade they offered f As a previous customer, I thought I would return to Sherwood GMC. I saw a truck I wanted (Sierra SLT) but was not happy with the trade they offered for my truck. As a result I sold it privately, getting $8,000 more than what they offered. I contacted the salesman I was dealing with to inquire about a cash deal and learned he had quit the week before. I was referred to another sales person and texted him a number that I was willing to spend. Granted, my number was low, but he wrote back that this was "achievable." Encouraged by this I went to the dealership where I learned auto-speak for the term "achievable"- the numbers were not even close. Then they threw the previous salesman under the bus by saying he took my file with him, therefore they didn't know which truck I was referring to. (I checked with the previous salesman and confirmed it wasn't true) I get that the salesmen want you through the door, but it's insulting to be lied to and to get excuses from the manager. At the end of the day, their best deal they was no different than what you would get at any other dealership. I won't ever deal with these guys again - I'm taking my money elsewhere. More
