It was gross to me to find the floor mat with dirty foot prints was left inside, there was a big grease mark on the interior of the BEIGE drivers door handle as well as dark marks on the lower panel of the door, maybe from boots the mechanic was wearing? I do not wear work boots nor does anybody that drives my car so I know they did not come from me. The steering wheel felt like there was a grimy residue on it and that is definitely from dirty hands. Shouldn't the employee WASH their hands thoroughly before getting inside a customers car? I know it had to be road tested to hear the complaint I had made but seeing the mess left behind and the grime left on my hands from the steering wheel was disgusting. I obviously had to clean it when I returned home. More

Not very knowledgeable My car suddenly lost power, my vehicle still functioned but went to a very low speed. No dashboard indicator light came on though. Northstar put my ca My car suddenly lost power, my vehicle still functioned but went to a very low speed. No dashboard indicator light came on though. Northstar put my car on the machine and said there were 'no codes' coming back, they also test drove it and ran it in shop and could not replicate. I asked if there were bulletins out with similar issues or was the PCM looked at, in which I was told no and no. I was sent on my way with with a $200 bill and no issue resolved. One month later my car did the same thing, this time however a wrench code appeared. A two second Google search tells me that this is a VERY common issue with the throttle body and that Ford agreed to do a Customer Satisfaction program to avoid doing a recall. This described the exact symptoms as mine and was common for my make, model, and year. The Ford trained "experts" are not able to diagnose an issue unless the machine tells them the code. They failed to look at the model and year and know there are programs in place for this precise issue. Northstar also failed to advise me that unless a warning on my dash came up, the computer wouldn't be able to give the error code - so they essentially charged me $200 knowing it would yield no results. I also feel that I was unscrupulously charged $200 and will be filing complaints until I am refunded. I ultimately took my vehicle to another dealer for this repair because Northstar did not return my call either when I phoned about it happening again. More
Great experience with purchasing a CPO Escape Walked onto the dealership on Saturday afternoon. Was introduced to Taylor. Young guy, and with a bunch of professional enthusiasm. He was good to wor Walked onto the dealership on Saturday afternoon. Was introduced to Taylor. Young guy, and with a bunch of professional enthusiasm. He was good to work with. It was determined they did have an Escape that we were interested in, on their Cochrane lot. Taylor personally ensured the Escape was brought to the Calgary dealership on Monday morning. The Escape was in great condition, and we took it home later in the week. We would recommend Taylor as someone to talk to in the Northstar Sales staff. Let him help you find you your next vehicle. On the paperwork side, we worked with Jason Suitor. He was good to work with, and he conducted business in a very professional manner. More
