Recommended work that didn't need to be done. Took my 2004 F150 in because the Service Engine light was on. The mechanic said the Catalytic Converters were no longer functional and needed to be r Took my 2004 F150 in because the Service Engine light was on. The mechanic said the Catalytic Converters were no longer functional and needed to be replaced; parts and labour $8,700.00! I took the truck to a nearby garage for a second opinion and they confirmed that the left side Converters were indeed non-functional but the right side Converters were fine. They replaced the failed Converters and the truck is running perfectly. Total cost parts and labour $1200.00. More

It started with Cassandra's friendly welcome and efficient greeting, followed by her follow-up call to tell me what other work needed attention other than just the scheduled oil change and what the cost would be. After telling her to go ahead, I received a call to let me know my work was finished and providing me with the shuttle driver's number to arrange pick-up. The "shuttler", Dave, was prompt and friendly and arrived within 10 minutes of my call. If everyone at Northstar takes their job as seriously as Cassandra and Dave, I know I'm in good hands! I was also greeted very cheerfully my the young lady who accepted my payment and gave me my keys after telling me where I'd find my car in the lot. Well done Northstar! More

Simple and stress free Took my truck in for regular maintenance as well as an issue that I had with the blower (AC and Heat). They took care of everything as expected but also found an issue with the truck vibrating when braking that they found while on the road test working on the other issues. Not only did they look into the issue but resolved it without any hassle. I do own the maintenance plan and it is great to know that they are still concerned with my truck like I was paying them out of pocket. Great experience too...Super easy to book and I appreciate the early morning drop off. More
