Extreemly happy with my purchase read my story We wanted a VW SUV that is safe , affordable and elegent but our budget did not allow us to buy a new one , After a long search I found a Touareg ad We wanted a VW SUV that is safe , affordable and elegent but our budget did not allow us to buy a new one , After a long search I found a Touareg advertised online at Maple Ridge VW, I called and left a message and within minutes I got a call back from one of the sales personell Ben Rafaoui. I live far form Maple ridge so I had to ask many questions before I make the trip, All my questions were answered instantly which is really impressive , A dealership normally will not bother unless you visit the lot knowing that MapleRidge is a very busy dealership and all sales associates are busy with lot customers. I came to dealrship and test driven the car , the car was pre owned but really in excellent condition plus it was tested from bumper to bumper by their service department and deemed safe, and in excellent condition. After few minutes of price negotiation the price of the car was fair but unfortunately was above my budget. I did not want to offer to pay less because I knew what is the car market value so I thanked Ben for all his efforts and told him about my intention to walk away sadly just because I could not afford it. Ben offfered me a nice cup of coffee and asked me to give him few minutes , he said he does not want me to leave unhappy , after few minutes Ben came back with a big smile on his face and with the approval from Lorne the GM on the price that was really good. I think this was due their high sales volume and seeking excellent customer satisfaction. Scott Rainone from financing was able to get the financing approval in few minutes too with a very low interest rate. We came the next day and picked up the car with a full tank of Gas ( $120), the car was profefssionally detailed too. :) We drove the car for few weeks and we loved it but we felt it is not really the perfect fit for us because we have a small garage and having two large cars makes it really difficult to park specially with my wife`s excellent parking skills !!! We went back to Maple Ridge VW with the intention to try to either return the car or trade it for something smaller with in the same price range.. I dealt with Ben again , Ben understood what we were looking for and offered us few options, I test driven few cars and finally I decided on a Tiguan , low Kilometers, newer model with all the options we wanted. I negotiated a very fair deal , I ended up trading my other car with the Tiguan without having to endure any loss. Again I was very happy with the deal , very impressed with the customer service , Ben from sales and Lorne the General Manager worked with me closely until I ended up buying the car the I want with the price that I can afford. I will not only come back again , I will recommend all my friends and family and whoever is reading this feedback , If you want to buy a new or used VW it is worth it to make the trip to Maple Ridge VW , from my experience dealing with sales and the Management team I am very confident you will be as satisfied as I am. I had a car dealership pohbia in the past but my experience buying two cars from Mapleridge VW changed that. If you had a previous bad experience buying from a dealership I advise you to visit Maple Ridge VW , test drive the car off your dream, ask as much questions as you want. enjoy the nice hospitality and walk away if you dont feel like buying a car becasue no one will push you to buy. Rob was very friendly from the first phone call, to the follow up, to meeting him in person. Upon arriving I instantly connected with Rob, I was greeted with superb friendliness and professionalism. Rob was very thorough with all details, options and prices and catered to my every need in all aspects.
