This was by far one of the best. Most professional car buying experiences we’ve ever had. We had the pleasure of working with Rob Valeri (sales person), and Jay Jay Pickafort (finance). Both Rob and Jay Jay are very great people to deal with and I’d recommend either of them without hesitation. We actually live in Waterloo, but found a great price advertised online—we email the dealership regarding the price we found, and within hours Rob phoned us back to confirm that he could give us that deal, and that he had already cleared it with his showroom manager. We went to the dealership that Saturday—the place is beautiful, and the cappuccino machine is awesome. Rob and the Team made us feel right at home, and there were absolutely no surprises. All aspects of the sale went extremely smooth. Rob and Jay Jay were both extremely helpful, and had some great suggested to upgrade our purchase, but there was absolutely no pressure at any point. We definitely give the overall experience 5 stars, and would not hesitate to purchase from Rob, Jay Jay and the team at Islington Chrysler again! Chris and Robin More

Right from the beginning my experience dealing with the sales people here was second to none. I did not at any point feel cheated or taken advantage of and all my questions were answered honestly. In fact, I would like to point out that although my original intention of entering the dealership was to purchase a Doge Ram 1500 the sales woman Sue Thompson almost convinced me to buy a Dodge Caravan based on my family needs. Now, I did end up purchasing the more expensive Dodge Ram however, I appreciate the honesty and the attempt to look after my needs as opposed to desires. In fact, by these actions Sue has assured my continuing business and recommendations to family and friends. I would also like to mention Umar Butt is a fantastic finance manager to deal with and his professionalism is absolutely outstanding. It's people like him that really seal the deal in these types of transactions. Last but not least I would give a shout out to Kris Rams for his friendliness and ensuring that all my needs were met. My only minor points of criticism would be the obvious computer issues the dealership faces with their online pricing versus their in store pricing. I did have some issues surrounding the price of my car in store and what I found online. Now, I would like to point out that some of the articles on this site which mention this issue are unfair and harsh. I did ask for an explanation for the discrepancy and received one which was satisfactory. One should understand that these things happen and its not necessarily due to some sort of hidden agenda. However, it certainly should be resolved as quickly as possible as it could leave lingering doubt in a persons mind. My second point of minor criticism would be the preparation of the car for pick up. Overall, the car was well prepped unfortunately, I did find some litter in the glove box and some minor details unattended. Again, I should mention that this is not a deal breaker nor does it really take away from my overall experience or recommendation of this dealership. But, like the issues with the computer it really should not be happening. Nonetheless, I would strongly recommend this dealership to purchase a car as well, personally recommend the salespeople mentioned above. More

I called and set up a meeting with a sales rep, when i went down to found an ad over the internet for a 2010 dodge ram sport for a reasonable price. Hi, my name is Dean. My daughter Katie and I recently dropped by Islington Chrysler to do some shopping for a new car, for Katie. As soon as we got out of the car at The dealership, the "car salesman" gu dropped by Islington Chrysler to do some shopping for a new car, for Katie. As soon as we got out of the car at The dealership, the "car salesman" guard went up, based on previous experiences at other dealerships. Old habit. Once inside, we were greeted by Sue Thompson, one of the sales people. Within 15 minutes of talking with her, and my daughter giving her some ideas about what she was looking for, I could feel the "guard" melting away. She treated us both like normal human beings and was genuinely interested in my daughters thoughts and needs. Next thing I know we are on our way out for a test drive. All the while being told about the pros and cons of this vehicle for Katie's needs. Sue has such a natural way about her, you can't help feel comfortable, and never once did we feel all she was after was the "almighty buck". What a relief!!!! It was actually fun. After a substantial ride around to let Katie get a feel for the car, we went back, then into the "bean counter" (finance manager) office to see if it was meant to be. This is where we met Umar. This man is great! Not once did he make Katie, or I, feel like idiots for not understanding some of the options that are offered. And when we asked questions, he answered them in a way that still left our pride and dignity intact. Impressive! Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be with that particular car. However, before leaving, Sue said she would keep her eyes open for something that might suit Katie's needs. Within a week, Katie gets the call. Pictures followed, Katie was in love once more, and a meeting was arranged to view the car. She bought it. Sue had the car detailed from top to bottom, and the mechanics went over it with a fine tooth comb, and my daughters driving a car I don't have to worry about. It has been a great pleasure dealing with Sue, from the time we walked in the front doors. Thanks to Umar for his hard work and patience. Thanks to the guys in the shop who made sure everything mechanical was good. I WILL definitely do business at Islington Chrysler again!!! More
