Headache pre owned van Bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan from Hyundai this past October. Of course when I was buying the van everyone called me back ASAP and the level of professionalism was great- until I bought the van and took it home. Within a week the heat was blowing ice cold while i was 1.5 hours away in a blizzard with an infant and school aged boy. My exhaust seemed to be leaking somewhere , the trim on my door was literally peeling off , my van doesn’t get up to running temperature when I’m driving it (I’m sure this is something huge as they ignored this) the doors wouldn’t lock properly and my brakes had to be replaced 3 times. To make a long story short I pointed out all these issues. They fixed the brakes (3x before they got it done properly) never fixed the trim even though I asked for it to be done at least 5 times to 3 different people , the lock mechanism was replaced by them , and I had my van in and out for the heat - every time they told me they couldn’t figure out the issue and when I was finally able to show it “acting up” Hyundai turned around and said they wouldn’t be repairing it even though they assured me from the first week I brought it in that they would. Eventually ended up bringing it to dodge and they were able to figure out the issue within 30 minutes - NOT days. Every time I’d call to inquire about when it was going to be fixed they dodged my calls. Tyler was rude with both me and my husband and would say he would call and never did My exhaust and/or cadilidic converter is clearly screaming at me every morning I start up my van and I can guarantee you they will say they couldn’t find an issue when I had it in there to be looked at - again within the first week of me owning it. I see all these happy reviews online and I can only assume it’s because it’s comig from people who bought brand new. The only one who maintained a great level of professionalism was Derek and the finance guy. Blake tried and was super respectful but dodging my calls really put a dent in my impression of him. Never ever buy preowned from Hyundai. I feel so beaten down in the ground I have no more fight left in me More
Friendly staff who care about their customers. I’ve driven Hyundais before and never had a problem. Choosing Guelph Hyundai was easy. Aaron and James got me a good deal on a 2018 Elantra GT Sport I’ve driven Hyundais before and never had a problem. Choosing Guelph Hyundai was easy. We walked into the store and asked for someone who can help us. Scott was available. He is a good salesman. He knows how to handle with care picky customers like me and my wife. The next day, we signed the dotted line. A brand new, white 2017 Santa Fe, the last one I think. I drove out of their yard, not a single penny until 90 days, with plenty of freebies that made me affirm it was good luck meeting Scott. 5-star! More
Very negative experience! Very negative experience buying my vehicle here. The dealership refused to take responsibility for internal miscommunication. They (intentionally o Very negative experience buying my vehicle here. The dealership refused to take responsibility for internal miscommunication. They (intentionally or not) lied to me on multiple occasions. The finance manager I dealt with used really aggressive, borderline hostile tactics. Once I caught on that there were mistakes it took a lot of work on my part to get the documents I requested (multiple emails and phone calls - eventually spoke with a different manager who was willing to give the documents to me) and although I was assured that everything was correct, no one could/would provide a detailed breakdown to prove it. Worst of all, once they acknowledged their “mistakes” they refused to make it right. Had they done the right thing they could have turned this around, and it might have been a better review. I won’t be a return customer. More
