Financing Manager Last week, I picked up a brand new Mustang 2017 from your dealership. The Financing Manager (by the way I dont know his name he never introduced himse Last week, I picked up a brand new Mustang 2017 from your dealership. The Financing Manager (by the way I dont know his name he never introduced himself and had an attitude) he was supposed to give me a cheque made out in the name of the Quebec Sales Tax for said vehicle which I forgot to ask for before leaving. I phoned Spencer the salesman the next day only to be told not to worry the cheque would be sent and I should received it by the first week of July. Today, July 5, 2017 no cheque. . I just got an e-mail from Spencer stating that his manager wanted me to fork out the amount of Quebec Sales Tax before and he also wanted a copy of the new ownership before he would reimburse me the Sales Tax. All the years I bought vehicles from dealers in Ontario I've never seen this done before. The Ontario dealers would give me a cheque in the name for the Quebec Sales Tax so then I could proceed to the licence bureau to register the vehicle in my name. Now with his attitude and the way he's treating me I will not fork out that money for a second time because you've already collected the sales tax once from Ford and I dont trust your company would ever reimburse me now. If I dont get the cheque by tomorrow my insurance will cancel my coverage on the Mustang since it wont be in my name and you can consider the sale terminated,and I and send someboy to pick up the Mustang. PS I will be contacting OMVIC! More
