Hidden charges! Watch what you ask them to do!! I have been locked into doing services and oil changes at Crestview Chrysler since owning my vehicle to meet extended warranty obligations and maybe I I have been locked into doing services and oil changes at Crestview Chrysler since owning my vehicle to meet extended warranty obligations and maybe I should have paid closer attention to my receipt over the past 5 years.... I recently had a $250 oil change and cabin filter change completed. All this time I thought the cabin filter was simply charged to my visit (the actual filter) and since they pull my cabin filter out to show me that it is dirty, they would simply put the new one back in... I found out that I am infact PAYING a $42.00 labour fee for that installation.. xxx?!?!? I confronted the fellow taking my payment and he said I had been always paying that.. then he went back a couple oil changes and the price of the filter even fluctuated from $20 - $60 PLUS there were the $40-$42 labour charges! I am so happy I am moving on from my Dodge Journey and this dealership... at least tell the customer there is a $40 installation charge, I would have done it myself if I had known I was sinking that money into a technician to put a cabin filter BACK INTO my vehicle... Needless to say, the heavy set fellow taking my payment was not very friendly and I had this I don't give a F#@$ about your problems feeling from the whole transaction. More
