Luckily for me he was available to help me and answer all question which helped me to finalize my decision of what type of car i am going for. During test drive pointed all cars features. I wish I could say better things. I found Mark to be very insincere. He followed just about every car salesman "trick" that I have read about. There was no effort to qualify my needs I found Mark to be very insincere. He followed just about every car salesman "trick" that I have read about. There was no effort to qualify my needs, wants and budget for a vehicle. His focus was on the sale, not facilitating the purchase of the best possible car for ME. He took far too long to return the test vehicle to it's spot - over 5 minutes, when it took less than one to get it. I just didn't trust him, and felt like he was manipulative (granted in a very nice, polite way). I hate that you have to go through someone that doesn't have the ability to make the call about pricing; it's a totally unnecessary middleman that adds to the time needed to complete the transaction, and detracts greatly from the experience. I look forward to the day when dealerships can just have upfront pricing that is non-negotiable so that car shopping is not such and ordeal and something to dread. More
Easily the Best Experience Ever The past week I had the pleasure of picking up my brand new 2018 Tacoma. From the moment I walked in to Charlesglen a month ago to the moment I left The past week I had the pleasure of picking up my brand new 2018 Tacoma. From the moment I walked in to Charlesglen a month ago to the moment I left I have never dealt with a better experience in the service industry. When I approached the dealership for some advice on vehicles and information I was instantly referred to Tyler Medland. Not only was he recommended to me to speak to but I was greeted and helped by Tim Beach. Welcoming myself at the front doors as I walked in I had install felt in good hands. Tyler would take his time for several hours that day with a test drive and information session showing me what seemed like an endless amount of options and packages for the truck I wanted. He was patient and helpful as we corrected and changed things multiple times. After finally deciding on a vehicle I had left to think things over before making a purchase. Over the next two weeks I had tons of questions. Not only did Tyler answer them all for me in an extremely fast response time, but would often spend time talking to me on his days off and hours off to make sure that I was looked after with all my questions. Above and beyond what is expected of anyone in Sales. Once I decided I wanted the truck, Tyler helped me with the final paperwork and sent me off to financials. Phil Dao was amazing in his work and help. Once again showing that each level of this dealership cares and takes their time with customers. This past Thursday I was finally able pick up my new Tacoma. After all this great service I didn't expect much more to be honest...how much better could it get. Thats when I met Jim McAlorum. What a great guy. For the next 30 mins he walked me through my truck detail by detail. Left no questions unanswered and had so many helpful hints. It was like I had my own 'Q' from James Bond...I kept waiting for an exploding pen or ejector seat. His humour, time and care will always be remembered and appreciated. After all this great experience I was on my way. I am very thankful for the amazing experience and attention to care & detail that everyone gave me. In a world of speed and hurry up it was very nice to feel appreciated. As a teacher I try to instil these values in students I work with and its always positive reinforcement to see it in action. When you buy a new vehicle its comforting to know that you joining a great family and team of people that look after one another. Would never recommend another dealership over Charlesglen. Hands down, best sales I have ever had, from shoes, groceries, houses to cars. Thank you. -Court More
