I met Ron Gelowitz at a charity fundraising event we were both working and, after telling him a bit about my history with back pain and other health issues that were exacerbated by traveling in my 2002 Grand both working and, after telling him a bit about my history with back pain and other health issues that were exacerbated by traveling in my 2002 Grand AM GT and he set about trying to find me replacement vehicle that was in our budget. My husband and I live in Meadow Lake, SK, 600 km NW of Regina, so Ron did pretty much everything via phone, email and text. He found us the Buick Encore with the exact specifications we requested and the price we got absolutely blew the competition out of the water by thousands of dollars. Ron is the rare salesman who actually cares about his clients and isn't just trying to make a buck. He put so much extra effort into finding what we needed and answering all our very numerous questions that we actually bought the Encore sight unseen (other than pictures) and without test driving that particular vehicle because we were so confident in his sincerity and expertise. To top it all off, Ron drove the Encore to meet us in Saskatoon since my health issues get much worse the further I have to travel. If that's not going the distance for your clients (literally!), I don't know what is. I've since told everyone I know that he is the guy to work with and Finance Manager Matt Fischer was also very accomodating in organizing our part cash, part finance deal and in getting the paperwork all the way north in time to facilitate the Saskatoon vehicle pick up and a few mistakes we made on our end too. It couldn't have gone smoother and been any more stress-free than if we worked at Capital GM ourselves, so thanks Ron and Matt. The heated steering wheel is devine!!! More
