I am very happy to say that in comparing between a GMC SUV ( I have had several of them) and a Jeep Grand Cherokee (I have never owned one) at Capital Dodge Chrysler, I was very pleased at the experience I had. My sales person at Capital Dodge was Sean Lee and he was very straight forward, listened to what I wanted and the price I would pay for it (there was none of the traditional bait and switch involved). Working with Sean and his Manager, Stefan Velitchkovski, was pleasant and non-stressful. We came to an agreement and I am walking away feeling very much of a win-win partnership. She found just the car we were looking for, called us, took us on test drives and never pressured us. She told us the truth, not necessarily what we were always hoping to hear. We're now the happy owners of a lightly used 2012 Fiat Sport. Other aspects of the dealership were not as great to work with. The back end of the dealership applied considerable pressure for us to close a deal. We got what I feel was deceptive winter tire information as after the sale additional pressure was being put on, not by Salem, for us to by overvalued items. Also, we purchased additional warranties which seemed to go up in price after we'd already decided to do it. So (and I suppose this is a common tale) although the price of the car was initially good, when everything after the fact was factored in, it wasn't as great a deal as initially thought. The servicing seems considerably more expensive than for other imported cars I've owned. I question the value for money, but the servicing is still so inexpensive compared with the price of the car (feels like the price of drinks at the stadium). That said, the staff seems quite professional and I don't question the servicing I've received so far. More
