I went to the oil consumption test today. they added 0.5L oil and charged it $9.75 and told me come back tomorrow for oil change. Because it’s 7th test they should have to change new oil. I brought my car in to diagnose and fix a recall-related issue. After almost a month of the car being in the shop I find out my service advisor had left the dealership. It seemed like not much was done duri issue. After almost a month of the car being in the shop I find out my service advisor had left the dealership. It seemed like not much was done during this time. From that point on, it took 1 week to do a teardown which I was told would take a day. I also kept receiving conflicting information from different people at the dealership and had to escalate to Hyundai Canada weekly and sometimes daily to get any kind of traction. It took 69 days just to get a diagnosis done and the "fix" ended up being just a computer update. After it was all said and done the dealership waived their fees given my experience but I received no coverage for all my other costs as a result of these massive delays. Poor service experience. More
