I had a very disappointing experience with 401 Hyundai due to poor communication, lack of transparency, and unprofessional behavior from management. I was not informed that the Ontario Package and Safeguard were optional, which led me to purchase them unnecessarily. • The original VIN of the vehicle I booked was sold to another dealership, and I was given a different vehicle with a new VIN. This caused multiple back-and-forth updates with my insurance, wasting a significant amount of my time. • day before delivery, I was informed that the ownership papers were not ready and that delivery might be delayed by an extra day. I was offered a dealer plate instead, which was frustrating. After expressing my concerns, the paperwork was suddenly ready on delivery day by 1:00 PM. • The ownership document initially listed only my name, despite my request to include both my wife’s and my name. This issue was corrected one week later, causing further inconvenience. When I shared this feedback with the manager, Jay Blas, his response was extremely unprofessional. He stated that I should have said “thank you very much” before purchasing the car because of my feedback. This comment was rude, dismissive, and unacceptable, especially when addressing legitimate concerns. I chose 401 Hyundai even though other dealerships offered me a better price. Unfortunately, I regret that decision due to the poor customer service and lack of accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. More

If you enjoy being ignored by management and having your car returned damaged, Darcy (service manager) and the service team at 401 Dixie Hyundai are the experts you’ve been looking for. Have an issue wit car returned damaged, Darcy (service manager) and the service team at 401 Dixie Hyundai are the experts you’ve been looking for. Have an issue with service? Don't bother asking for the service manager's info because the staff protects it like the nuclear codes. Even if you do get it, management won't contact you back. 10 weeks, 6 separate visits, 10+ days of the car sitting at the dealer, I still have the same issue I came in for originally and as a bonus - damages to my car. If you value your time, your safety, or your car’s interior, go elsewhere. 0/10. Avoid. More
