Took my car in to have the alignment check after 2 weeks of owning it. The car was pulling to the right and I had concerns and wanted it checked. It was taken for a test drive and he told me roads are built of owning it. The car was pulling to the right and I had concerns and wanted it checked. It was taken for a test drive and he told me roads are built that way cause of runoff and it was normal. I told him my previous highlander didn’t do that and that I had concerns and would like it checked. He got an attitude and immediately started talking over me and even walked off as I was trying to explain what was going on. He was belittling, rude, condescending and refused to put it on the rack to have it tested. Then another service tech drove it and brought it back and my car sat there for another hour. I had to go check to see what was happening and I heard him talking sh@t about me to another employee. He brought out a piece of paper showing the test from two weeks prior and said look, it was fine two weeks ago so there is nothing wrong with it but refused to put it on the rack to test it. It was the worst I’ve ever been treated by a service tech in my life. He did not even care about me or my concerns. I will never take my car to be serviced there again. I was left feeling neglected about a legit concern. I would recommend taking your Toyota somewhere else to be serviced. I love my highlander and the guy who sold it to me was great. I talked with him while I was there and he told me he talked with the used car manager and to take it somewhere else and they would cover the bill. I was humiliated, treated like dirt and I won’t go back there. He ruined it. Side note, sales and finance were great. Service department not so much. More

Perfect fit I'd considered several vehicles for my expanding vehicle needs. I needed to add a heavier towing option. I came into CR Toyota with an idea of what I wanted. I met Chuck when he braved the frigid weather and came out to the lot. We took a Tacoma TRD Sport for a drive. It was not a good fit. Chuck didn't presuure. I didn't want the payments of new but also didn't want the uncertainty of used. Chuck said he would keep an eye for a CPO--there weren't many on the lot at the time. Chuck kept in touch to give me updates even though want I wanted still wasn't there. One day I was online looking again, there was a possibility. I contacted CR Toyota on a Sunday evening via chat. Chuck responded the next morning, I came by, test drove, and we came to an agreement. I've been coming to CR Toyota for 9 years. New purchase in 2010 and all services since then. All staff have been decent, interested, and considerate everytime. Some, I talk to everytime as well. When I was looking this time, I'd received recommendations for other dealerships but the service, staff, and customer service of CR Toyota make me feel valued and comfortable. Couldn’t be happier with Alan’s work, the dealership, and the product. The service department is great too. This is our 4th Toyota purchased from Al and our 5th from CR Toyota. Have not once had an issue with any of the cars and they are all but one used and 3 are between 120-168K miles. You can trust Al if you are buying over the internet and he is well worth the trip from out of town - he will not disappoint. You buy one car from him/them - you will be back. I think like at least 40% of his business is repeat.... More

No pressure dealership This is my 3rd Toyota from this dealership and they continue to impress! I looked at 2 others makes but the deciding factor was that the Toyota holds This is my 3rd Toyota from this dealership and they continue to impress! I looked at 2 others makes but the deciding factor was that the Toyota holds it's value and the amazing dealership at Cedar Rapids Toyota. They gave me a great price from the beginning, no pressure to buy extra warranties etc. plus the service dept. is amazing! Pop machine, Starbucks, pop corn, cookies, pie and several waiting areas with big screens and fire places! Enjoyable to wait for your car! Phil Weineke was my salesman and he never called me at home to bug me unlike another Cedar Rapids dealership and I never got that need to buy today pressure I got from other dealerships! Also they have a great bay inside to pick up your new vehicle so you are not standing out in the elements going over the features of your car! More
