My name is Phil Beaupre, I speak and write both French and English. I'm originally from Ottawa, Ontario where I grew up and lived there for 20 years before moving to Hay River, NWT. But also lived in Quebec, and finally found my new home in Grande Prairie, AB where I own a house and have a 2-year-old daughter Harper and a 13-year-old dog Bailey who also lived across Canada with me. I moved to G.P in the fall of 2016 where I took a position in sales with no sales experience with Grande Prairie Volkswagen and never looked back. I climbed the ladder and was quickly promoted within a year to Assistant Sales Manager and then to Sales Manager and finally Pre-Owned Sales Manager. I've been working in the industry for just over 5 years now and love my career. Nathan was an alright salesman, very friendly and listened to what I needed. But he relied on his manager too much. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. It didn’t feel like a pushy sales experience and I didn’t feel like I had to buy right this second. Shawn is awesome I was currently looking for a vehicle for 6 months with no luck and it was very stressful. The minute i walked in to the Grande Prairie Volkswagen it I was currently looking for a vehicle for 6 months with no luck and it was very stressful. The minute i walked in to the Grande Prairie Volkswagen it turned from a stressful situation to super easy and exciting. They were in the middle of relocating so when I walked in Philippe the sales manager got Shawn to come down right away! They were both really nice and easy to talk to. I explained to Shawn what I was looking for and he found the perfect car for me. They helped me find my dream car in less than an hour. Super stress free and fun! Shawn was amazing in all vehicle buying aspects. The entire staff was very nice and inviting and was always there to help. Shawn really took his time and showed me all the features of the Tiguan which I really appreciated. He truly went over and beyond for me. I would highly recommend. More
