Yes, I'd purchase a vehicle here again! First off, let me start by saying that I don’t often write consumer reviews, actually I’ve only ever written one. It was for a beautiful boutique hotel I stayed at on my birthday called the OBAN INN. It’s located in Niagara-On-The-Lake if anybody is interested. This review however is for a car dealership called LOCKWOOD KIA, located off Bronte Rd in Oakville Ontario. When I think about buying and trading a car, I get very nervous, and for good reason, It’s a nerve racking affair… My hard earned money is at stake and I just know I’m going to get pressured into purchasing a vehicle with a bunch of value added features that I can’t afford. I’m not an aggressive guy, and for that reason the entire process of purchasing a vehicle literally makes my skin crawl. My intuition’s were true, until I called Lockwood Kia and spoke with a sales rep by the name of Charles Divita. It was a very welcoming conversation, that made me feel at ease. Previously, I had called and visited a couple other dealerships in the area, and honestly the only word that I can use to sum up my experiences would be “Greasy”. Talking to Charles on the other hand just felt normal. After our initial conversation, I booked an appointment to test drive a vehicle and met the other folks at Lockwood Kia, including the financial services manager Micheal Holguin, who again was an absolute gentleman to deal with. To make a long story short, the vehicle is sitting in my driveway and I’m writing this review the night of purchasing it. No buyers remorse here. In fact, I feel like this is one of the best decisions and experiences I’ve had in my life. I guess some business just get it right. I believe what happened to me however did not happen by accident. I think the kind culture at Lockwood Kia is embedded in their DNA as a whole. I mean everybody there had the same graceful attitude - overwhelmingly friendly and super helpful. I guess good energy is infectious. These guys really get it! I don’t think I was special in any way, I bet they treat everybody walking through the door with utmost respect, whether they’re purchasing the most or least expensive vehicle. They consistently asked if I wanted a coffee, water or if I needed anything. They hung out and chatted with my father while I was busy doing paper work. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed in any way. I made a fair deal and I purchased the vehicle I’ve always wanted…from a bunch of honest nice guys. I do marketing for wineries in the Niagara Peninsula, so naturally I relate everything to wine. I often review wines as a result. I always start by describing the smell of the wine, what it taste like and how it feels, but quite honestly it always comes down to one simple question… “would I purchase it again?” and, that simple question has validity here. Yes, I would most definitely purchase a vehicle from Lockwood Kia again. In fact, I plan on purchasing my Fiancé’s vehicle here next year. So that’s it, that’s my two cents. If you want a good experience when purchasing a vehicle, go to Lockwood Kia. They have lots of high quality vehicles on their lot. But lets call a spade a spade, you can purchase a vehicle anywhere, it’s the people in this world that make all the difference. Cheers, Brad Mate More

Charles Divita, the Sales Associate we dealt with, was very friendly, relaxed and patient. Charles went out of his way to ensure that all our questions were answered and that our needs were met. At no point did we feel pressured to make a decision. After several visits to Lockwood Kia and various other dealerships, we were so impressed with Charles, and the service he provided, that we decided to purchase TWO new vehicles: a Soul and a Rio5! Thanks to Charles and the other Lockwood Kia staff who helped us throughout this process, we are now happy Kia owners! Without any hesitation whatsoever, we would recommend Lockwood Kia and Charles Divita to anyone planning to purchase a new or used vehicle! I contacted Charles Divita to take the Sorento V6 for a test drive. A great vehicle, just a little large for two people. After a few weeks and assessing my needs, I contacted Charles and he suggested taking the Sportage Turbo for a test drive. It was five passenger seating vs. seven passenger. I was extremely impressed with the vehicle and the options that were included on the SX model. I picked up the vehicle on September 30th, one day after making a deposit. Within less then 24 hours, the vehicle was ready for pickup with a remote starter installed along with other accessories! First class service without a doubt. The entire process was seamless and professional. I never felt pressured and they helped me assess my needs in a vehicle. Thank you Charles, Michael, Andrew and the rest of the Lockwood team for a great experience! More

I have never purchased a KIA and was very impressed with the patience and knowledge of my salesperson. He put me at ease, was patient with all my questions and fully answered my many questions. He was so professional and easy to talk to. Other sales people at other car makers are or can be very pushy and inpatient, but not the case with Lockwood Kia. As soon as I walked in one of the staff greeted me with a smile and an introduction. I felt at ease right away. The dealership was clean and cars were nicely set up for me to look at. I am very impressed with the customer service. More

I also had a great leasing experience with the assistance of Charles and Mike -- right from the get-go. Accommodating our busy schedule, Charles drove a test vehicle to our house on a weeknight. That was extremely helpful and appreciated. The rest of the process went pretty smoothly, with Charles always seeking ways to accommodate my wishes. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I dealt specifically with Armando, Mike and Logan during the process of my vehicle purchase with Lockwood Kia. I purchased a 2016 Solar Yellow Kia Sou I dealt specifically with Armando, Mike and Logan during the process of my vehicle purchase with Lockwood Kia. I purchased a 2016 Solar Yellow Kia Soul SX Luxury. First off, Armando was great. Very honest and knowledgable about my financing options, the features of the vehicle and helped me choose the best vehicle for me. Solar Yellow wasn't in stock and he worked hard to make sure that he found me one and it was delivered to the dealership quickly. I had my heart set on yellow and he made sure I got yellow. This was my first new vehicle purchase and he made the process easy. I'm very thankful that he was there to help, but he was also very straight forward with everything. I did not feel pressured and he answered every question I gave him (which was a lot). Overall, I cannot give Armando enough praise for all his help with the process of purchasing my new Soul. Mike, although played a smaller role in the process of my vehicle purchase, was kind and courteous. He kept me updated on the delivery status of my Soul and set a time that worked for me to come pick it up. Logan assisted me when I picked up the vehicle. He put the plates on for me (which I was thankful for because I would have messed it up) and although he was ready to explain the features of the vehicle, he understood I wanted to cruise around and figure them out myself. Logan was kind and personable, and also explained all the paperwork to me in a way that I understood. Overall, I cannot thank these gentlemen enough for their patience, kindness and honesty during the process of my vehicle purchase. I would absolutely recommend Lockwood for anyone in the market for a Kia. More
