Basil was born in New Delhi, India and has lived in Kenya and Uganda throughout his life. His grandfather was a doctor and his father retired an aeronautical engineer. Basil himself is the widowed father of two wonderful twin sons, Ryan and Neil. Basil enjoys working in the auto industry as he believes the sky is the limit; he has recently sold some cars on-line to customers which he found a very interesting experience. Being candid, truthful and sincere are characteristics Basil feels makes a strong salesperson, all three of which he demonstrates. Although Basil is a peaceful and calm man, don't think that he hasn't had some wild encounters. Basil has come face to face on three separate occasions when he was in east Africa, with a lion, an elephant and a hippo! He also survived an armed carjacking in Nairobi!

Excellent experience We came to Budds to look at a car we saw online. We were greeted by Basil who showed us the car and made the whole buying experience very easy and en We came to Budds to look at a car we saw online. We were greeted by Basil who showed us the car and made the whole buying experience very easy and enjoyable. Since picking up the car we've also been in for service, which was fantastic. Someone was there immediately to take the car in for the service and we even got the car washed! Overall the team at Budds have been superb to deal with, they definitely have the customer as their focus. More

A very sastisfied customer! I walked into the dealership on Dec 30th needing to drive away with my new vehicle on the 31st and had to be back at work in 2 hours. Although it sounds like a dealership's dream customer (Quick sale!) it also came with a lot of stress as there were license plates, car insurance, and lease financing steps that had to be completed before I could get the car and they all involved 3rd parties. I was very impressed with Rob Powell taking care of my needs as he stayed at work a few hours longer than planned before starting his New Year's holiday break to ensure that everything was lined up and I'd be able to pickup my vehicle on New Year's Eve before the dealership closed for the holidays. In addition, Henry and Basil were as polite and courteous as anyone could hope for in helping me quickly find and drive away in the vehicle I needed asap! More

I found him to be courteous and friendly and he did everything he could to ensure that I was truly happy with my purchase. And I am. I also dealt with Rob Powell for the business side of the purchase. I found Rob to be extremely friendly and made the transition from the old car to the Escape as quick and seamless as possible. We were done in no time and even had time for some conversation. I truly enjoyed my experience at Budd's and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Basil.
